Today in a match I selected handoff, checked where I would go, deselected player and moved some other guys around. Then came back to move my player that was going to do the handoff and he was not able to select him. It seems he did a handoff to himself and the ball under him in the same square or something odd we tried reloading and it didn’t work. Here is the replay from the match it was early in the game turn 2 or 3 I think. https://fumbbl.com/ffblive.jnlp?replay=1318800
Just wanted to let the people that work on the game we found a bug. We played it out as is. Which didn’t go so well for me. But that’s okay. I love what you all do this game is a life saver during this COVID crisis.

So you:
selected the handoff action
checked how far he could move
deselected the player
activated other players
found out he had activated
It looks as though both the player and the ball are occupying the same square but the ball is not held. If it was then it would have scattered when the saurus blitzed the ball carrier.
Turn 2 of half 1. Player is a human catcher
Can you fill in a bug report please: https://fumbbl.com/p/bugs |

Yes indeed. The omnly way I found to detach the ball like this is to select 'Handover to any player H' in the ballcarriers context menue and then select an player that isnt eligible. Maybe that is what happened?
There used to be a bug looong ago where you could handoff to anybody on the pitch that way. |

I reported it, you got it all in your post jdmickleburgh so I used that to mostly explain it in the report.
