I would take the MA before I could even think twice about it.

If PeteW says take Jugs. You take Jugs.

Yes and no.

It's not as though MB is a poor alternative, and frankly, taking some advice which may work excellently for certain coaches (especially top coaches) doesn't always work as well for those of us with lesser skill.

I don't think there's a wrong choice from MB, Jugs, +MA, I just think the decision rests much more on personal play style and how comfortable you are with changing your play style to take a different skill selection.

I think in cases like this there is a lot of value in hearing the cases for different selections, but it still comes down to individual ability. If you make a jugs/frenzy war dancer but don't know how to actually use that combo well in a game then it's a bad choice for you, other than if you are really keen on learning how to use it in game.

I'm with licker on this one. I don't know how good the op is but I believe that mighty blow is easier to get the benefit from than juggs. So advice for one coach may not be as useful for another.

Oh, and it should be pointed out that JUGs before Frenzy is essentially a 'waste' of a skill, specifically compared to taking it if you already have Frenzy.

True, in general, but in this specific instance, it's the 2nd skill on a Wardancer. He'll have skill 3 in like 4 games.

I agree that Jugs is a great skill on a strip baller.

Now here is the rub that licker pointed out.

Jug before SB and/or frenzy is not optimal

BUT

You cannot take for granted the double. So, you take Jugs now, knowing you will get SB right after.

Then again, he does have +ST...his path seems to inflict pain and suffering. Go MightyBlow and hope for the next double for PileOn.

At some point you are taking the double to couple with skills in the future. There is risk in this type of build.

Then again the only way to a AV9 dancer is to take the AV now.

The avatar of spite approves of the +AV

Go with the MB and hope for another double. Then he too could be as cool as The Oven Master.

Who will be taking Jump Up or Jugs depending on his next skill roll, should he survive that long.

Wardancers don't have the longest lifespan in general. POMB Wardancers die real real quick. People will go out of their way to foul any elf pomber. But if it's a POMB Wardancer... well I for one wouldn't stop booting until it's out or I run out of players. That's what most people would do I think.

And a ST4 dancer is big deal. He's got more important stuff to do than the killing to be honest. MB? Sure, it will work? POMB? Meh... I would really be tempted to skip...

MB is a very natural fit though, since what else is ST4 doing besides blitzing?

Same argument for juggs/frenzy, just that that's a combo which requires more finesse to use properly.
