My favourite has:
Pork filé, ham, tomatoes, onion, bearnaise sauce and pineapple on. (+ tomato sauce and cheese of course). They call it Palermo special but somehow I suspect that this is not an italian pizza. |

Pizza and me, we go way back. My mother used to make pizza with sausage on it. Then I quit eating sausage and started to eat vegetarian pizzas, yummy. Then I stopped eating pizza for a while, too cheesy for me in some point of my life. Then started to eat some of the pizzas they make here (the most interesting fact about little Finnish Pizza places is that they're run by turks, which incidentally leads to the fact that I'd rather eat kebab there) but due to numerous reasons, mainly the quality, I turned into making my own pizzas. Having a wife with a similar ideas, it was rather a nice and easy transition.
We made pizza last week, with smoked ham, and pineapple, (mmmm, bellissimo!) and feta cheese cubes. Then on top of my pizza I put a mixture of onion, pepper, jalapenos and olives, all nicely chopped and then cheese all over (mind you, not too much though, cheese is fatty). Oh and ketchup for the sauce, not tomato puré or whatknot.
It was a pizza to die for. Luckily, I'm still alive.
EDIT: the funniest pizza I've eaten? has to be with marshmellows. It was a travesty, a crime against humanity, and it even din't taste too good (too cheap ingredients)
and do we have sea food pizzas in the northern hemisphere? We do have seas and fresh water sources here too, you know. It would be like asking, "Isn't it funny when you people down there have to walk upside down and all, you know?" |

Does any other country, besides USA, put sausage on their pizza? |
The british do it also (I bet they even have sausage-pizzas for breakfast) |
I think Salami can be had at almost any pizzeria in Sweden. It goes great with tomatoes and cheese so why not? |

I am glad to hear someone mention "Chicago Deep Dish". Whenever i go into NYC i laugh at the crap they pass off as the "world's best pizza".
Like a Chicago style pizza with BBQ sauce, muenster and mozz cheese, red onions, seasoned plum tomatoes, grilled chicken, and jalapenos.
God i miss chicago for this.

Oeh pizza!! (Miss I-love-to-eat is here!)
I like almost all the pizzas... hawaii, pizzas with chicken, pizzas with shoarma and garlic... All nice!!
A pizza with broccoli, mushrooms, lots of cheese and meat is one of my favorites. |
