See how much more entertaining Fumbbl is when we write up fancy match reports?
/ms gives muchas kudos to Chainsaw for some of the best fluff he's read so far this year! |

I quite enjoy writing the match reports, and player bios. If you enjoyed that fluff, check out the other matches I've reported on mostly to a similar standard. |

Nice win there Chainsaw. Orcs rarely score 4.
I just don´t get the part about Cherrypicking......who was the cherrypicker? I´m sure that those 2 points of TS aren´t what you are talking about? maybe it is the useless 42 TR (yielding 3 handicaps) you mean? Or is is because Rondo has a much higher CR than you and he (gasp) dared challenge you still?
Or maybe you are just talking generally..i just don´t get it

I see.. so in your (chainsaw´s) view a cherrypicker has this definition:
Coach with high CR, that offers a game to a lower coach, where he is at a distinct disadvantage teamwise and gets lucked away losing a bunch of players.
Damn.. I am a cherrypicker... |

Ok, so maybe I misused the word 'cherrypicker', and in doing so did a disservice to Rondo.
However, I'm certain he went for a "weaker" team due to having mng players, which is understandable. |

No problem i´m sure. I just get real grouchy when the term "cherrypicker" is tossed around wrongfully. I mean...it takes countless hours of studying, waiting, and IRC-lurking to become a Succesfull cherrypicker and there you go and almost give the title away for free...
Nah, seriously - there is no doubt that your team was the stronger team in this matchup. You get 3 handicaps and his strength was a meager 2 points higher. And actually - picking Orcs as a "recovery game" aint exactly skilled cherrypicking.
So no harm done.

Fine fluff there Chainsaw.
As CS3 pointed out, it does add flavour to the team. Especially when done well. Nice job.
On the topic of cherrypicking. I dont think cherrypicking on Orcs counts somehow... just me. |

that match report is quite nice.
And i don't think this is a cherrypicked game on either end.....
I applaud the likes of Chainsaw who goes after big games. He plays the game in the spirit everyone should.
Peace,

Speaking of writing match reports, is it possible to do them retroactively? Or can you only do the report for your most recent match? If I can go back and do reports for all my matches up to this point, how do I get there? It isn't overly obvious to me, pardon my newbieness. |
