News from my skinks:
A Chaos Halfling team with a Bloke/Tackle Mino and some Diving Tackle Players, carnaged the skinks! The best 2 skinks died (one with ag4 and catch and the other with Bloke and Diving Tackle).
The team was winning and came so far because of those 2 players.
Now there are only 9 skinks for the next game.
The game wasn't even in high TR! TR131 for the skinks and TR123 for the Chaos Halflings.
I'm tired of fielding less than 11 players in almost every game and there is no fun when the team cannot develop.
Please think of my suggestions, they might work. |

Very true, though you have only lost 20% of your matches with them and one of those was to another skink team. I still feel your 9 man skinks would beat an 11 man fling or mainly unskilled strig team no problems. |

The other skink team had 2 Saurus.
You are right that I might win with 9 skinks but I will never win in higher Team Ratings.
edit:
The team will not even be able to reach high TR. |

ok give them av10 and regen then you can have a super stat team with no draw back , 9 skinks can win aginst a full roster halfling team .And its Stunty its supposed to be fun mayhem and killing |

0-2 Krox (Gen, Strength)
0-16 Newt 6236 Dodge, stunty 40K (Agility)
0-1 skink Chief 8237 Dodge stunty, 60K (Agility)
Lowered scoringability (!) and better hittingpower! |

That would make the Skink roster a fairly generic stunty roster. 2 big guys + X linemen
It would be good to keep a fairly unique feel to the skinks |

Reducing speed makes them gobbos. Giving them big guys makes them too hard.
Leave skinks be - they are fine - trust me I'm a vicar |

IMO giving them fully fledged BGs would be horrible, they were terribly overpowered with them. Still havent seen any comments, (except for more suggestions about adding ST3 players ), on 2 ST3 players, and some drawback to Skinks. |

Why not just dump them from the avaliable stunty leeg teams?
-They're dull
-They're clearly vastly overpowered unless you restrict the number of skinks (thereby making it a completely different team) or change what a skink is (makes no sense).
Skinks are in the same boat as halflings, I.e they don't really have a role in a league based around silly fun as opposed to always winning. |

Off of the top of my head:
2 x Lizardman, 5-3-2-8, Thick Skull, Agility access. Increase RR to 70 K to compensate. That gives some line-fodder without overpowering the team.

Hmm might be nice, but they might just become more powerful... Remove an MA from the Skinks? Or lessen the amount u can have? Lessen the amount of Skinks, and add some slower, weaker version to fill the team up to 16? |

I still say that adding Mayhem factor is necessary from keeping them boring... even if it is not the Salamanders that are chosen.
If we want to avoid giving them reliable higher strength players, we could add:
0-2 Wild Baby Stegadons: Works exactly like a normal Goblin Fanatic in all matters, even cost.
These infant stegadons are stolen from their mothers at a young age, and starved for days, before being released onto the Bloodbowl field on the day of a game. The only downside is that these starving monsters do not care who they hit, and tire out very fast. They tend to die pretty easily as they do not have the stamina to do a lot of running in their starved condition.
Another idea I had pertaining to these would be to make them Wild Animals as well, so that they are not AS effective as a regular B&C, and thus would require 2 on the field to keep them useful. Also, if WA was added, their points cost would have to be lowered a bit I think.
