I worked it out in the end, the b#@tards have changed our internet connection at work, and I can no longer reach the Java Applet (god knows why).
Someone please save me from having to work at work..... |

It doesn't work from my my work because it's blocked by our firewall. However I now have an account that enables me to "punch a hole" through the firewall, and thus get chat (and the client presumeably) working.
Ask if that is the problem and tell them you have to access chat for research |

How can I find a game if you can't connect to Chat, we have a VERY restrictive firewall. Also, how do I know what Java my work computer is running? |

In a command mode (DOS Prompt in Windows OS), say:
java -version
There might be another way to do that too, I have no idea, but that's what I always do... |
