There are players that achieve fame through their great deeds. There are players who achieve it through their mighty abilities. And then there are those that, um, don't.

Borjoyzee is a disappointment to me in many ways, but I find myself impressed by the vast amount of times he has attempted to wound an enemy and completely failed. 109 blocks at the last count. As far as I can tell, an average player doing average two-dice blocks will get a casualty about 1 block in 50 so he's not a huge outlier, but as a starting line for ineptitude he is the best I have.

So who amongst your players has racked up the most blocks without causing even a single broken nose?

The winner will receive the coveted Foam Trophy of Slapping, and sort-of-but-not-really bragging rights.

(very minor math warning)

It matters entirely on the AV and skills of your blocker and target (like Block, Wrestle or Dodge), and skills that modify casualties (like MB and Stunty, etc).

But for no relevant skills*...

A 2d block yields a Pow or Pow/Push result (a knockdown) 5/9 of the time. (2/3 miss chance on 1 die x 2/3 miss on the other = 4/9 miss, so 5/9 success.*)

(If you're willing to take the Both Down, all these values increase by about x 135%, not including career-ending self-injuries.)

If the armour breaks, a Cas results on a 10+, 6/36.

5/9 x 6/36 = 5/9 x 1/6 = 5/54 = ~1/11.*

So the variable is AV. A knockdown breaks armour vs. ...
    AC 6: 21/36 (~58%)
    AC 7: 15/36 (~42%)
    AC 8: 10/36 (~28%)
    AC 9: 6/36 (~17%)

So, vs. AC 7... 1/11 x 15/36 = 15/396, or ~2/53, or just under 4% (3.858%)

Vs. AC 8 it would be 1/11 x 10/36 = 10/396, or about 1/40, or ~2.6% (2.572%)

And so on.

Once you get into actual play v. players with skills, it's hard to put any % on it, even as a rough number. All depends.

(* This is why simple Skills like Block, Dodge, Wrestle, Tackle, etc etc have such a huge effect in the game. Just having Block on the blocker v. no-skills increases your chances by 35%.

All coaches, but especially those interested in this, should start with The Art of Blocking.)

I can't quite match it but I have a mummy with only 1 cas from 118 blocks. Impressive considering s5 and mighty blow.
Although yours having block and tackle but still failing is definitely a feat.

Incidentally, said Borjoyzee just managed his first casualty, on the 166th block, and 62nd game. Surely now there will be a flood of skillpoints.

107 blocks so far, no casualties. Does he get a bonus for being a dirty player who's attempted only three fouls in 42 career games, though?

Cezanne was clearly a better painter than blocker. 22 games, 110 blocks, and aside from that his stats are all at 0. A true useless player.

I did a check of my teams. Weakest hitter I found was a saurus with no cas in 91 blocks.

It was funny finding a skink with 5 blocks in 39 games on the same team Very Happy

I wrote about him in this blog: http://fumbbl.com/p/blog&c=bigGuy&id=13039

His story short:
TG made 143 blocks in 19 games, 0 CAS. In 19th game, got 2nd MVP, took MB. On 20th game, first block - push+skull. Followed push. Died on opponent block, no regen.

WORST TG I ever had.
