Hello all
My Skaven blitzer just got his first skill and I rolled a 10 and have the option of +MA or +AV. I'm requesting a little bit of guidance here as the guide for skills I'm following doesn't have anything mentioning a + stat roll for a blitzer. Or should I take a normal skill? |

It would be +MA over +AV for sure, but have you thought about a doubles skill?
Horns/Claw would be the best choice I think. Granted if you pick horns people will play vs you, I can't say the same for claw. |

It wasn't a double roll, it was a 6 and a 4 on the dice |

I'd take Guard or MB. |

I think I'd skip the +MV and take Mighty Blow. Mv8 isn't *that* much better than Mv7 and I think you need every skill to contribute to the player's game plan, which at the level your team is should be offensive line of scrimmage duty removing players from the game.
If you feel you can't waste the stat then take +MV and follow him down the path of ball popper with something like Tackle, Strip Ball, Mighty Blow for singles and Horns, Dodge, Two Heads for doubles. |

+Ma should never be under rated on a blitzer. |

I would take a normal skill, either mb or guard.
Not worth taking +MV on first blitzer skill on the team. |

You need a poll! I rarely pass up MA myself on almost any player. This is not one of those rxceptions for me. |

@ Grod - +MA as a first skill on a lino - meh. I used to be excited about that, but linos don't need speed, they need skills to do their job. As a later addition, maybe, but not a first/early skill, and especially not on a young team.
@ OP - Depends on the team, and your ability and environment, and playstyle.
If the team is fairly well skilled up across the roster, and/or you're disciplined enough to keep him protected*, then +MA is the way to go. He has others to support him while he gets "real" skills, and MA 8 on a Blitzer opens so many doors once he's there.
(* and with +MA he can blitz and then fall back more easily)
However, AV 8 is not so durable that he can swing in the breeze without support. So if the team has few skills and really no blockers to support/protect him and help carry the load and take some of the abuse, then something like Guard or MB would help the more team overall and immediately.
(If, as I suspect, it's this team, you have a couple blockers already, so +MA is not overly risky. A little thin, but... meh, they're only rats.) |

+MA is good late (4th skill or later) like on this guy. Skipping is fine as well. |

Mighty Blow, you only have 2 blitzers so it can be hard to justify getting too fancy
Also fire your -av rookie blitzer and the niggled lineman and hire a new blitzer. |
