If a vamp feeds on a standing thrall, and the injury roll is less than 8 (not knocked out or casualty), does the thrall remain standing or should it become prone or stunned?
We had this in a game and figured it should remain standing - but wanted to know the definitive answer because it can have a big affect in certain situations. |

Nope, player is stunned. But an interesting way to think about it that I hadn't considered--would make Vamps much, much more powerful if it worked that way. |

Thanks, vamps could use some buffing so that might be an idea for a future release.?. |

I could support that as a rule for Vamps. That would be a nice small buff that would make them better but not push them into overpowered status. |

Vamps ~can~ be tough if played right (but that's easier said than done) - maybe just "prone" and not "stunned", that alone would be a significant boost. |

I think removal of Bloodlust altogether would be fun. |

They don't make armor rolls, right? Just injury? |

It would be a good roster to play on tabletop!
with 4 players with block at start, and with 4Ag+ ballcarrier and/or hypnotizers!
at TV110, you could a full roster:
13 man, all 8 positionnals, and 2 team RR. that's perfect...
Even in league they would be good, with all regen players (and 4 foul apparence!), and very cheap linemen.
and the vampires has G+S+A access. but will be easy to skill compare to other G+S+A players like slanns-blitzer (because of AG4) |

Blood Lust should be changed so that you can CAS thralls.
If you kill one, it should be turned into a Vamp!! |

Indeed. Blood Lust (p63): "choose one to bite and make an Injury roll on the Thrall treating any casualty roll as Badly Hurt." and Injury roll table (p11) says: "Stunned – Leave the player on the pitch, but turn him face-down. All face-down players are turned face up at the end of their team's next turn, even if a turnover takes place. Note that a player may not turn face up on the turn he is Stunned."
If you want more equal teams, I propose you may want to look into NTBB and CRP+. Likely there will not come new releases of rules from GW, but CRP+ is used in many places and at least some tabletops use NTBB rosters. It is possible to use most CRP+ rules on FUMBBL in [L]. Christer has said that he would like to support custom rosters at some point in future, but changes take time. |
