Good evening, fellow NBFL enthusiasts. This is BSDN's "Inside the NCBB" Reporter Grod McSpay, coming to you live from just outside the NBFL Draft Room.

This Saturday, this venue will be alive once again with all the hopes, promises, and dreams of younger players hoping to forge their careers into the history of this storied league. Will the next Charles Woodson be found here in the Season 15 draft?

We, the hardcore NBFL fans within the inner workings of BSDN, write up a mock draft, which we at the network vigorously discuss. This year, however, we all decided that it would be fun and interesting for the Network Execs and fans alike to take a look at our mock draft,

Here we go, fans. We hope you enjoy our first look at our yearly Mock Draft at BSDN.

(1) CHICAGO - Wilma Wildpuss (Arizona) - Jump Up, Piling On, +ST, Mighty Blow - 60 pts.

- The team really needs a Troll Slayer, but once again this season, the Strength section of the draft is severely lacking. Wildpuss is a game-changing type of player that can add some serious beef to the moderately-developed Blocker core.

(2) WASHINGTON - Darkvantre Harris (Texas S&M) - Dodge, +ST, +MA, Side Step, +MA, Tackle - 76 pts.

- This team is running a bit bare, having been ravaged by injuries. Harris would give them some much needed credibility to go with their other superstar Blitzer.

(3) JACKSONVILLE - Paden Crowder (Alabama) - Mighty Blow, Piling On, Strip Ball, Tackle - 54 pts.

- This team has NO identity. They don't do ANYTHING well. They have two BEAUTIFUL Big Guys up front, as well as a few other role-players that have just simply under-performed. Their leading Marauder Foster is on the cusp of becoming a more effective physical player. This would give him the assistance he needs to give this team a bit more credibility in a very physical AFC South.

(4) - TAMPA BAY - Xzavier Dickson (Alabama) - +AG, +AG, Mighty Blow, Tackle, Piling On - 91 pts.

- Injuries, injuries, injuries. This team has a very nice Thrower core. They are a bit thin on most other areas. The pride and joy of an Amazon squad is its Blitzer core. This player would be an instant upgrade to this squad, and being a dual stat-monger, players like this don't come along every day...

(5) - BUFFALO - David Chow (Missouri) - Block, Dodge, +AG, +AG - 71 pts.

- Chaos can develop to be an absolute FORCE, but there is one area that most every Chaos squad will struggle in: ball handling. Drafting Chow here gives them a fantastic player that will take care of any and all ball-handling duties, which saves on rerolls (and Coach's sanity). There's nothing worse than having to use a reroll on the most basic of tasks: picking up the ball...
NOTE: This pick was made before any information was available regarding Expansion picks.

(6) - SAN FRANCISCO - Galloping Ghoul (Nevada) - Block, Side Step, +AG - 39 pts.

- Agility players are always at a premium. This gives the news Boys Of The Bay a greater threat from their Gutter Runners. Scoring, in theory, shouldn't be a problem...
NOTE: This pick was made before any information was available regarding Expansion picks.

(7) - KEG'S ASS CITY - Omar Phillips (Tennessee) - Block, Guard, Stand Firm - 33 pts.

- Simyin finally make an appearance in the NBFL. Will the rest of the league be ready for them? They'll begin their career in the VERY difficult and competitive AFC West. Phillips will be featured as a Silverback, anchoring the middle of the line, which should help to take a few hits off of the Gorillas.
NOTE: This pick was made before any information was available regarding Expansion picks.

(8th) - HEARTHSTONE: Trey Depriest (Alabama) - Mighty Blow, Tackle, +AG - 38 pts.

- These boys, like Chicago, are in the same situation: they need a Troll Slayer, but this draft is severely lacking on Strength players. They do want, however, to draft a player that will make a difference. They could certainly benefit from getting an agile Blitzer, giving them a bit more flexibility on the defensive side of the ball.

(9) - MINNESOTA - Jack Reese (Connecticut) - Block, +ST - 18 pts.

- The role players on this squad are pretty well established, with the exception of the Ghoul section. They have a very good player there, but he's rather dinged up. Minnesota doesn't have a 2nd Ghoul on the roster, but the problem is.... there really isn't that great of a player out there to pick up to fill the role. That being said, they should look to the Zombie section to find this stat-monger there who plays strong. He'd act as a 3rd ST4 player for the squad, which is nothing to just brush aside...

(10) - NOO YORHK JEHTZ - Michael Barton (California) - Block, Dodge, Tackle - 40 pts.

- There is a new feature that allows Ogres to draft as a Strength category player. If that becomes the case, this would be an enormous draft pick. It ends up being the steal of the draft if that becomes a reality.

(11) - BEARDYMORE - Charles Folger (Tennessee) - Mighty Blow, Tackle, Piling On - 33 pts.

- There are a lot of needs for this team, but with only one Blitzer on the squad, that seems to be the most glaring need. Seems like this player would have the biggest impact out of the box, so to speak.

(12) - ARIZONA - Geraldo Orta (Tennessee) - Block, Guard - 18 pts.

- With a lack of a striking Gutter Runner or a game-changing Storm Vermin, there isn't much out there to look for except a quality Lineman. They find one here who can offer Guard, which is always needed by Skaven.

(13) - CLEVAGELAND - This Season Sucks (Connecticut) - 16 pts

- This coach has always relied on a solid Linewoman core to compliment its Blitzers. There is always a possibility of drafting someone from the Skilled section, as this squad doesn't have a Thrower and only one Catcher. Nonetheless, a player with Guard may very well serve the greater good for these ladies.

(14) - DETROILET - Hulk Hagen (Nevada) - Block, Mighty Blow, Guard - 35 pts.

- This is an excellent upgrade over what is already on the squad. The Pestigors are fine. The Beast of Nurgle is in good hands. Adding a quality Nurgle Warrior here would be far more beneficial than adding a Rotter.

(15) - DALLAS - Ka'Deem Carey (Arizona) - Block, Frenzy, Tackle - 36 pts.

- Speaking of injuries... oof. These guys have been ravaged by them. The issue for these guys is that there really aren't the greatest positionals left for what this squad needs. When in doubt, strengthen up the core players. Carey will compliment the Wardancer rather nicely, making it a bit easier for him to get his work done. Notice that there's only one on the squad right now. I always find it better to draft support for the squad, rather than draft a Wardancer, as the WD skills up 3-5 times faster than the average Lineman. Grabbing a core player with this level of skill is bound to serve a solid purpose.

(16) - INSANE-LOUIS - Walter Zenga (Oregon) - Wrestle, Dodge, Strip Ball - 48 pts.

- It's not the sexiest player that's out there, but the Goats seem to be doing well in the removal areas. They have "some" Guard, but not nearly enough yet. Unfortunately, there's only one possibility left at this point at drafting a Guard player, but drafting Zenga is a better option. It gives the Goats more ball play, and better defensive assistance. It's a good choice here at 16.

(17) - PITTSBURGH - Donte Whitner (Ohio) - Dodge, Side Step, Fend - 47 pts.

- There really isn't a tremendous need for this ball club, which is fitting for a team drafting 17th. There are already a number of Hobgoblins on the squad, as well as the allotted number of CDBs, but there could be an upgrade to one. By drafting Whitner to be a CDB, this squad gets itself one of the harder, more annoying players to deal with in its history...

(18th) - INDIANAPOLIS - Tim Little (Missouri) - Block, Side Step, Tackle - 48 pts.

- This roster is screaming for a Ghoul. Contrary to past players on this club, which somehow all seem to become stat-mongers, Little provides a great deal of functionality for this versatile squad.

(19) - UNDEADVER - Brandon Dillon (Connecticut) - Block, Dodge - 28 pts.

- This pick addresses the more pressing of the two needs. The first could have been a 2nd Ghoul, but more importantly, this pick provides a 2nd Flesh Golem. Dillon will be a very difficult player to deal with in the front lines of this Necromantic team...

(20) - ATLATL - Wes Blob (Air Force) - Block, Guard Mighty Blow - 31/16 pts.

- Who could ever have dreamed that a Block Big Guy would fall to Atlatl at 20? They'll happily accept the gift, giving their Skinks somebody far bigger than they are to do the dirty work...

(21) - TENNESSEE - L. Waddle (Texas Tech) - Block, Kick - 23 pts.

- This is a team that really has no "hole" to fill. The front line and core are for the most part well developed. The lack of viable Strength players in the Draft limits the ability to replace a young Black Orc Blocker. So, we look at anything we can fill in, and don't see a Kicker on the squad. Makes some sense for a team that really has no inherent needs to draft..

(22) - GNAWLEANS - CJ Sssanderson (California) - Wrestle, Side Step, Diving Tackle - 36 pts.

- In trying to continue the theme of being one of the most annoying, grinding teams to ever play the game, the Stankies draft yet another "annoyance" to be a Pestigor. The only real other hole to fill is a Nurgle Warrior, but there isn't one that fits the template similar to Mr. Sssanderson.

(23) - NEW ANGRYLAND - Andrew Sweat (Ohio) - Mighty Blow, Frenzy - 24 points

- It's obvious that the squad needs to round out the Chaos Dwarf Blocker core. There aren't too many quality options left (in fact, in our opinion, there are only 2). The deal breaker for us on this choice was Frenzy. The Bulls don't have a player with the skill yet. With all the Guard already in place, it's not too hard to push 2d to their benefit...

(24) - SEATTLE - Stephen Murphy {Missouri) - Dodge, Tackle, Diving Tackle - 36 pts.

- There are two possible positionals that could be filled here, a Lion Warrior and a Dragon Warrior. Grabbing the best out of the lot, it seems that the Dragon Warrior wins. He comes on board with some desirable skills that will assist the defensive side of the ball.

(25) - CAROLINA - Ian Mason (Missouri) - Block, Dodge, Accurate, Sure Hands - 60 pts.

- There's very little that the Party really needs. Their important positionals (Catchers, Blitzers) are taken care of. These do, however, need some consistent ball-handling, and Mason is just the guy that can give it to them.

(26) - OAKLAND - Darkwood Dickson (Texas S&M) - Block, Dodge - 29 pts.

- Very little to choose from in the end portions of the draft. There's no candidate for a Witch Elf available. They've only ever had one Assassin, so that's not an option. Their best bet would be to get an effective core player, and start building him some help.

(27) - SAN DOGO - Taylor Loftley (Vampirebilt) - Dodge, Guard - 17 pts.

- There is a glaring need for both a 3rd and a 4th Blitzer. With so many of them off the board already, the Chompers grab a player who can prove to be very effective and useful, despite him falling to 27th in the draft. Believe me, the Dogs won't mind.

(28th) - GREEN BALL - Rondon Bibbs (Missouri) - Block, Dodge, Dump-Off, Side Step - 64 pts.

- The former multiple Champions are in need of a 4th Blitzer. However, due to some serious injuries last season, they've been left without a Catcher on the roster. With little to no options for a Blitzer out there, they grab a player that will put up Touchdowns, as teams still have to do that in order to win. Few teams do that better.

(29) - PHILHALA - Mar Simoneausson (Kalmar State) - Tackle, Dirty Player - 21 pts.

- There's really nothing left here for a Norse positional, not that they really need one. That leaves them seeking a quality core player, and Simoneausson fits the bill. He adds a bit more needed Tackle, as well as being a Dirty Player. That pattern is already established in their Lineman core.

(30) - MIAMI - Tim Beelzebuberson (Air Force) - Block, Kick, Leader - 34 points

- This player can add a cheap reroll, as well as add a Kicker to the squad. The Krakens will have to draft him, however, to play the Skaven Renegade, which isn't a problem, as they currently have a rookie playing the position.

(31) - NEW YORK GIANT LEECHES - Julian Crockett (???) - Dirty Player, Sneaky Git - 19 pts.

- This team knows it's going to be getting a Thrall at this point in the draft. They may as well take one that can do his job well, and perhaps live to play another day before he's food.

(32) - CINCINNATI - Korren Kirven (Alabama) - Block, Guard - 27 pts.

- After a miraculous run to the Bowl last season, these boys need to beef back up to defend. They're in need of both a Nurgle Warrior and a Pestigor. This seems to be the more viable way to go, as the former is far harder to skill.

McSpay - There you have it folks, Here's what we've been mulling back and forth for a few weeks now! We sure hope you enjoy it, as well as give us some of your thoughts along the way!

Let us know how you think we did, and don't forget to tune in to the Season 15 NBFL Draft Review/Analysis Show which will begin early next week! Enjoy!

Always a fun read man, thanks for doing it.

I gotta say though, the NA coaching philosophy is such that taking a frenzy blocker is almost a zero chance, but you're right that there is utter crap in that player pool.

Nice read, Apojar, as usual.
