Hello guys

In the game I'm currently/just finished playing, my opponents squig rider failed his Blood Lust. He then tried to pick up the ball in the square next to his blood lust target, failed to pick up the ball and then fed but there was no turnover?

Am I missing a rule or is this a glitch?
