Hello fellow fumbblers,

My Gutter Runner Clakos le Gourmand is superstar since yesterday. I am hesitating on wich skill would make the team better!
So far he got block, +Ag, +Ag and Sure Hands.
I need help to choose, oh and he did a double but don't think I'll use it.

Cheers!

Sidestep seems like the safe choice. Pass has some clear utility with how many completions the player already has. Don't do leap it's not all that helpful when you can dodge with 6 AG. Pass Block is fun but often useless.

My more out of the box double choice would be dumpoff 6AG helps negate the tackle zones and when you pop the ball out on defense you may not be able to get to safety.

it's a bit wasted on a ball carrier but have you considered guard.
Mobile guard gutter runners are great

of those chioces, I voted for sidestep for running down the sides of the pitch

Isn't pass a double? I'd definitely use the double. Either a mutation or guard.

pass is a double yes...the thing is I have a stripball/wrestle/horns GR to blitz the ball...if he succeeds Ag6 comes to pick it up so guard is not the best choice for him (other gutter would have taken that skill).

Everything but Leap. Leap can be an option at ag 5 but with Ag6 you dont need to leap!

Horns or leap.

Ignore guys saying leap would be useless, it is more often than not in the cases where you can't reach the target without jumping over opponent blocking your way or facing a wall of tackle which can be bypassed by just jumping over them. Or cases where the diving tackle makes you 3+ dodge instead of 2+... situations are endless and leap is good on ag6 in any case. It is the situational awareness in game that leads you to using it, more often than not leap should not be used as the ag6 dodges well into 2 tacklezones and even 3, as he already has dodge.

Which brings to the point of horns, that is you are able to get to the opponent ball carrier and 1D (or with the help of another gutter some times 2D) blitz.

Pass block would be great and fun but he is missing leap which is critical part of then pass block sequence, usually.

i agree with tmoila, leap is still great

however, take pass on that double

helps when you are on offense, as he can now easily distribute the ball

and is great on defense when he is your ball hogger - he runs in (and with next skill leaps in) gets the ball and passes it out to a waiting friend - off you go. those kind of actions often involve a cagebreak, a strip ball, dodging or leaping in, so very often your reroll will be used on some of it, so having sure ahnds and pass as additional rerolls is just great

Having had a couple of players like this, I'd now be tempted to take leap instead of the agility 6. Leap is still worth it on an ag6 though.

if it's not pass then it has to be big hand. then leap for legend is a must.
