This may be blasphemy around here, but I love Warhammer and just about all GW games. Don't get me wrong, BB and Fumbbl are probably my first loves, but I would Definately play regular warhammer or 40K if I could A. Afford to pay the crazy amounts it takes to really be into the game or B. They came out with a true game, just threw all the Warhammer rules into a game and said, bow down to the greatness.
With this being said, I was just searching for info on upcomming games and I spotted this. From the looks of it it looks relatively... not perfect but relatively close to real Warhammer. Four races (I know I know... only four) and in an RTS ... well that isn't exactly right but it looks to be one of the best Warhammer games I have seen to date. It looks beautiful too. Hopefully if this does well it will encourage them to come with more and better Warhammer games. I'm sure all you die hard BBers will commence with the flame, but hey, I'm sure there are a couple out there that care =P. |

Well, here is your first flame!
How can you write a post about the great GW games and forget to mention the best one?
Man O War rules all!!
/me grumbles something about the youth of today failing to appreciate true beauty..... |

Come on Cloggy, you know how GW works; how can you even expect the youth of today to even know 'Man O War' even existed?
I am still looking for a good copy of 'Mighty Empires'. Seriously, all of the 'side projects' fall into obscurity arfter the 18 month cycle ends. |

Yeah, Mighty Empires... I struggled to have my friends playing that with WFB battles...
Now I play Rome Total War, and well... it reminds me of those days... |

Chaos Maruaders though it wasn't a miniatures game it was fun and played quicker.
They still have Necromunda, Mordheim, etc. on the Specialist Games section at least. (Bless Jervis for keeping these games alive!) But i guess Gorka Morka died an apathetic death like some of the others.
Talisman was crazy popular and I don't understand putting it down (and it still sells for crazy prices on Ebay). |

Oh, and Talisman!!
Still believe I have everything to that game... all expansions etc... to bad it is all flattened from too many years being at the bottom of a big pile of books. |

Talisman was amazing! Heroquest was fun to have wars between the monsters with... I still own BattleMasters! How about them apples?!?!? Actually, If I had cash to burn (which, hey, I don't) I'd invest it in the Lord of the Rings game. I hate (I mean LOVE!!!!) to say it... It's a way better system. Check out the rulebook sometime, you'll see I'm right. Besides which, GW made the brilliant (who'd a thunk?) move of modelling after the movies, but giving stats, characters, and scenarios based on the books. I mean, who can NOT want to play as Prince Imrahil? |

mhmm, mac, i hate the LOTR system, but thats probably because it was rammed down my neck by overzealous GW types trying to flog me a propertyinlondons worth in models... damn them and their BUY NOW!!! sales technique... |
