I haven't played a game yet in the leagues, but I tried a standalone game using the preset teams to get used to the controls. The problem is it was soooo slow. Anytime I wanted to do anything it honestly took at least 30 seconds usually more like a minute even when I found out a way to speed it up. Even just for moving one square. Is this normal? Is it something with my computer? Is it just in the standalone game, or is it this slow playing an actual person too? Cause to be honest there's no way I'm taking 20+ minutes per game turn. Also, I had to use the mouse, the shortcut keys in the readme didn't seem to work. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Yes the latest Java 6 version you can use is 7.
If you are just using it for fumbbl you could use 1.4.2 latest version (19 maybe). |

Thanks it seems to be working now after changing to 1.4.2, I just hope I can still use it for anything else I need (I didn't see harvestmouse's post till after I deleted java 6). |
