I don't know if it's happened before. And at the moment, I'm waiting for a support ticket to see if he actually returns to the team, so I guess that officially he's dead at the moment (and therefore this is the fitting place to write the story).
And who am I talking about?
A totally unknown Beastman going by the name of Frodo the Putrescent from "One Rot to Rule Them All", which played its first match recently in Blackbox.
And why is this guy special (or dead)?
Because Frodo started the game as a common Beastman... only to be killed by a brutal Mummy and turned into a Zombie by the horrible Necromancer coaching the opposition.
Not to be let down, the great power of Nurgle allowed the Rotter team's Beast of Nurgle to kill Frodo once more... turning him into a Rotter!
Sadly, this infinitesmall possibility is not presently covered by Fumbbl, so maybe he will never truly become the Rotter he was meant to be... but even if he never gets to play again, at least he's done the unique thing of:
... starting out as a Beastman
... progressing to become a Zombie
... then turning into a Rotter
All in one match. |

I think that would happen.
I played a necro vs necro game once, my wolf was killed then raised as a zombie but later in the game I managed to kill him, again, and he was raised as a zombie onto my side. Was a bit confusing but funny as hell!!! |

I think that (the zombie incident) has happened before, but here the chances are far lower... he has to be killed by a specific player (the Beast).
And yes - Nurgle has in truth blessed him... |

In one of the OCC tournaments an elf was RIP'ed, turned into a zombie, then killed by another undead team in the next round and raised as a zombie, effectively playing for 3 teams during the same tournament. That's quite special too |

He was infected, he appeared in my reserves as "Missed the game"... but not on the roster.
(not unfairly, somebody probably didn't design THAT particular combo into the java game) |

Could it be, that regeneration players cannot be infected? |

Ahh... and here I thought it was the first time. *grin*
But good to see that other Nurglers have had the same experience - because it was fun. |
