Currently at 12 Box to 8 Ranked remaining.
and according to E.L.F. categories (and then again by division R/B):
3 (2/1) - (Plug & Play): Orcs, Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf
7 (1/6) - (Better with Age): Chaos, Nurgle, Pact
3 (1/2) - (Bones & Moans): Necro, Undead, Khemri, Vamps
5 (3/2) - (Agile): Dark Elves, Skaven, Slann, High Elves, Wood, Pro
2 (1/1) - (Humans & Stunties): Norse, Human, Lizzies, Zons, Ogre, Underworld, Halflings, Goblin
Box better-with-age bashers are the only significant group there really. |

Wow, so far all remaining ranked teams face B teams now... they could either even the numbers now or leave it all to the box (or something in between)! |

A few cool teams still in there too. Well done to neophyte's humans too. Would be great to see humans going all the way. Also somewhat suprising still seeing an orc team in the mix after so many of them dropped really early on.
Box FTW |

Huh? I didn't realize causality dictated that if a large portion drop early none can be left later |

True , but the laws of probability suggest that if there is only 1 orc team left in the running after the 3rd round they would stand less chance of winning the tournament than a race that are represented in far greater numbers.
Also that there may be a reason for their recent decline in perceived competativeness |

Quote: | R-Nurgle - Last remaining nurgle, as much as it pains me to say this, but 1 mb claw, lack of good high ag or ma players, this is not a win candidate imho. |
Relax, Carnis. I don't need bash or agi to win. Just lots of 6s. |

probability - the causality form people who are not so sure about it |

From the looks of it, 2 of the Semi-Finalists will be Blackbox teams.
The other 2 Semi-Finalists could still be either B or R teams. |

B-7 CP vs B-7 Human

B-6 Chaos vs R-6 Nurgle
You are correct!
So it might still be Ranked vs Ranked in the final. Even tough it is not propable.
Also as predicted the Box Chaos made it further than their Ranked cousins.
Fun to see 2/3 of the new races making it far(2 top 16 and at least 1 top in their first FC.
I also belive that the Skavens(MY TEAM) or WEs have a good shoot at reaching the final since there is no tackle heavy teams in the lower half. Claw teams suit av7 well. |

They will be good candidates for final yes, but after facing Mayhemizer's Tim & then RandomOracle's Jill later it will be a good chance that a majority of the team will have turned into toothpaste in the quarter/semifinals making the win somewhat more likely for whoever you are up against. |
