The Hungry Horde
The Halflings are a peaceful race. The Moot region they live in consist of small hills, small forest and large lands of agricultural lands. They love a peaceful life with eating and taking things slow. They love festivals of any sort, because it gives good reasons to eat and drink more than usual. If their homelands or way of living should be in danger, then the small folk will muster their bravery and defend themselves with whatever means. They love to collect things and it won't be unusual to see a Halfling home filled with rooms that is packed with things that might come in handy one day or just things they want because they want it. The Hungry Horde entering the Blood Bowl would combine two things together: Food and drinking & the chance of taking something home that do not belong to them during the match. With the shouting from the crowd and the confusing on the pitch, the food, drunken people, then sure someone might not notice a little greedy hand taking something that does not belong to them.
Ogre or Moot Ogre
The Halfling chiefs have their police force to govern the Moot, but most time when it come to arguments over which item belong to whom it become difficult for the police force to take action. Halflings fighting Halflings not a pretty sight and some fight can last long time. So a Moot Ogre is easy to have around. The Ogre found a liking for these small folk. They love to eat, they love to take things slow and not in dire need of action. Peaceful and just jolly wonderful. All that is need to be done is, eat, drink and show up with the Chief to settle matters. But over the years, this has made the Ogre slow (hence why the Moot Ogre).
Swan Rider
Fierce creatures. Hard to control and always going into a frenzy over nothing biting who ever eyeballed them. A great opportunity to take these fierce animals into the blood bowl pitch. But in the early days the swan would fly out of the stadium, so a solution came up to prevent their long fly abilities. Now they can flap a few times in the air and will come crushing down more angry due to not be able to fly where they wanted to fly.
Ram Rider
The ram make the perfect animal for a day of Blood Bowl. They are strong and have sure feet. With their great charge ability they become truly good blitzers. Taking down things now no longer is a problem for the Halflings.
Dawg Rider
During their early games in Blood Bowl, the Halflings have found out they lack speed and have a hard time to make a TD unless they are thrown which is always a crowd pleaser but a lot of time turn out nasty. Riding these dogs make it no longer necessary to draw straw of whom are going to be unlucky one to be thrown.
Thief:
Sneaky bastards with greedy hands. They are used to place their foot in the right place or use their hands quickly. It is not always that a stealing goes unnoticed and either you need to run away or take up the fight. Why these little sneaky bastards are a bit faster and more used to fighting then the rest of the team. The blood bowl pitch might not be safest place to try and steal something, but the dead does not complain if you take something from them either.
Hot Pot
A good hot pot is what a Halfling love, for the love of food. The first Halflings blood bowl teams did not use the hot pot as a weapon on the pitch. The Empire saw a good opportunity to use the hot pot as a weapon and the Halflings soon found out that other stunties took weapons on to the pitch, so the Hungry Horde began to field Hot Pot and fly that hot soup right into the other enemy teams field.

Far too much general access on the team, I like the fluff, but I'm not the best person to tell you if it fits. You need to state how many of each creature allowed on the roster... e.g. 0-1 ogres etc |

Look at the team versions. After looking over team version 1
0-2 Ogre or Moot Ogre
0-4 Thief
0-2 Hot Pot
0-16 Halflings
It might need to be only 2 thief instead of 4. Might be too good with 4 who has access to G. |

The ram riders having strength and general is too strong, they will have: block, tackle, mighty blow and piling on before you can blink, I would suggest U simplify the team, just having the flings, big guys and a single positional to add something different... |

Point taking both, good observations.
0-2 Ogre or Moot Ogre
0-2 Thief
0-2 Hot Pot
0-16 Halflings
How about this one? The hot pot are secret weapon, so they wont be around. And why would you field 2 at the same time? So would be more like 5 positional and 6 haflings on the pitch. |

I have updated the players and rosters.
I have now made it so in version 1 you can only field 2 of the 3rider players. It will give some varient to what kind of halfling team will be on the pitch.
Also added mr-maverick suggestion of simple roster of he flings, big guys and a single positional.
