Undead had a chance to score on turn 8 of the second half to tie things up. Ghoul ballcarrier on the right sideline in a sideline cage. Woodies lined up in a double deep defense. Undead used their wizard to knock down one of the defenders in the rear, then they blitzed the defender in the front with a wight to open a clear path for their ghoul ballcarrier.
DOUBLE SKULLS. Rerolled into a pow, but the damage was done. The blitzed wood elf sidestepped into position and was KO'ed (apothecary used to force the ghoul into a tackle zone).
The ghoul dodged out of that tackle zone just fine and was left with two gfi's for the tie. No suspense, as Nuffle dishes out a 1 on the first gfi. Game over, except for some blitzes and turn 8 fouling from the elves. |
