So when I make my Cube can I have 16 players and 2 rerolls? Or do I have to go with the 12 man 5 reroll build?

Has to be the 12/5 initially. Also it gives room for assimilating the elf, goblin, rat and bigs!

Yeah - and Marauders are actually limited to 0-12. Smile

But josh is right, it's a fixed starting roster. I like all teams to look equal. And since we started I've often heard that the 5 RRs indeed come in rather handy.

You need to give races numbering. Borg don't refer other races with their names but with their own numerical system.

Humans are of course species 5618. Dark Elves are like bad elves and since Romulans are the bad elves in Star Trek they get their designation as species 3783.

Anything else? Klingons ~~ Orcs -> Species 5008 ?

Wow, obviously we had the first case of a self-destruction before getting assimilated.

What about kills not inflicted by Borg directly, like crowd pushs, failed gfi's or thrown rocks? Count them as assimilated or not?

Report from Ranked Invasion Cube 001 encounter #6

Ranked Invasion Cube 001 made contact with new species: Underworld. Enemy party consisted of eleven subjects with different biological and technological attributes. Assimilating those different subjects could highly contribute to our genetic pool. Analysis of this new species power is indeterminate.

Information acquired: The entities refer to themself as Underworld. They have formed an unstable coalition to face daily danger by combining there individual strength.

Threat assessment: Medium. Smaller subjects avoid conflict by dodging maneuvres. Medium subjects show more aggressiveness but lack the physiques to be of certain threat. Biggest subjects are slow but strong and mighty. Assimilation recommended.

Assimilation: One of the smaller subjects could be assimilated and is about to contribute to our cause as Fourteen of Sixteen soon.

Complete data records of the encounter can be found here.

Ranked Invasion Cube 002 report: Encounter #2

Contact with a vessel controlled by a crew from species 3783.
The encountered specimen used a self-destruction mechanism which limited severely subject material extraction for detailed analysis.
From the empirical data it can be deducted that the mechanism appears to be triggered when the task assigned to the subject exceeds certain improbability threshold. Two different scenarios were witnessed: First was by a single subject. The second scenario ended the encounter.

Feedback from the modified algorithms of tactical structural preservation is positive. No drones were lost or permanently damaged during the encounter.
Two drones have acquired enough self-diagnostic data and have been upgraded to current Hive directives.

New trick encountered: Fawndough's Headband.

Information acquired: The entities were non-living and referred to as Undead. There were very limited opportunities to assimilate.

Threat assessment: High. Large bound entities are dangerous. Faster flesh-less ones are troublesome. Faster living entities ripe for assimilation.

Assimilation: Not possible on this occasion.

Units 3 and 12 upgraded with Block skill

Complete data records of the encounter can be found here.
