Hi fans,
just want to ask another skill choice question on a squig. Rolling a lot of extraordinary skill dices on that team:
http://www.fumbbl.com/p/team?team_id=796029
Rolled a 11 on a rookie squig. AG +1 would make it to an AG 5 Ubermonster, but still without hands...
Any sugestions? I tend to skip the AG +1 and take guard, dodge or PO instead.
Thanks for your answers.
Greetz,

Ag 5 leap is a 2+ and dodging into a tz is 2+ therfore +ag sounds awesome |

I'd say skip. They're VLL anyway and don't really need to dodge that much.
If so, dodge is better and will also protect him/her.
EDIT: and you need the RR for other things than dodging a AG5 |

I'd take a skill instead - probably dodge. They can't get any better at leaping, and ag5 isn't worth it just for the dodging benefit.
I'm not saying this for min-maxing reasons - I just think +AG wouldn't be that helpful. |

+ag does essentially nothing on a squig. He can't handle the ball and with VLL/AG4 the leaps are already at 2+. The only thing it would help is dodging into tackle zones, but that's why you have leap, right? |

Skip!! If you need to get inside a cage then leap on a 2+! Its not like he will often need to to get out after or grab a ball so rarely will another dodge be needed.
I like a mix of skills on squigs so I would take guard then take pile-on on your block squig for uber-carnage of big and small guys alike.
(edit: if you are not convinced, watch your last game and see if there was any occasion where his ag5 would have been useful...) |

Thanks for the many answers. Poll is indifferent, but the non ag 5 comments convince me a little more.
I just had one AG 5 player in my fumbbl career and it was a lot of fun, but he was a werewolf and had hands and scored a lot...
So for this squig thing, i think i will skip it and take guard or dodge.

If it was a rider that is a different thing as you will likely make more use of ball carrying and dodging. As it is No hands and VLL do make it of limited use. Guard is debatable on a stupid squid too. |

I just wanted to drop a response to say 'Nice theme' Giovanni!
I loved the Dark Tower series, although I wasn't sold on the ending.
Skip the +AG & Good luck w/ them. |

I don't think so, most dumb Big Guys get Guard as a skill and they have loner too. |
