On team roster pages there are 2 Team Value entries:
Current Team Value and Team Value
Sometimes there are 2 TVs displayed as Current Team Value: for example:
Current Team Value: 1630k/1640k (I guess that the second value considers the TV of the random skills as if they had been picked, and not rolled randomly, hence the difference). For purpose of pairing, though, only the first TV value (i.e. 1630k) is used, making the second one unnecessary, if not misleading.
Team Value: 1630k (the overall Team Value, including the MNG players)
In my opinion it would be better to have just 2 TVs displayed (1 per each entry):
Current Team Value: displaying the current Team Value without the MNG players' TV included. Random skills' TV is used to calculate it (instead of considering random skills as chosen skills costing the full TV).
Team Value: the overall Team Value, including the MNG players' TV and the actual TV cost of random skills.
That way there would be only 2 Team Values displayed, 1 per each entry and it would be more clear and elegant to read, and less misleading too.
All in my very humble opinion, just a suggestion to improve the readability of the roster page. |

It can't be random skill cost difference, because there's sometimes 5k differences
I've got teams with several random skills and only a single value displayed in CTV
Eg, Current Team Value: 1160k (±170)
Also
What does the (± ) mean, after Current Team Value?
Team with 0 games, Current Team Value: 980k (±100)
Team with 5 games, Current Team Value: 940k (±140)
Team with 14 games, Current Team Value: 1055k / 1060k (±240)
Team with 15 games, Current Team Value: 1075k / 1080k (±270)
Team with 15 games, Current Team Value: 1200k (±300)
Team with 17 games, Current Team Value: 1110k (±320)
Team with 29 games, Current Team Value: 1330k (±700)
It seems to relate to games played, but not sure how/why |

that ± means TV difference possible for games.
Also second value on CTV in this case is his fans as i said. |

Dedicated Fans should not count in the TV. If they count, then it's a bug. |

Guys...
There is a bug for teams with 7DF. It adds 10k to the second value for TV, but that one doesnt count for anything like Merry says. You can find it in the bugs section if you want to.
If TV ends on 5k, the second value is the rounded up TV. It is there because some parts of the site use a 3 digit value from old days and Christer didnt want to code everything again. Iirc top list and such. Again, the second value isnt used for anything important.
Mostly the two values are there to display TV with and without low cost linemen. |

Nice to know, thanks! Well, if we have to live with inaccurate TVs displayed, ok. 
I didn't know the bug with 7 Dedicated Fans.
About Low Cost Linemen:
Current Team Value could display the Value without including Low Cost Linemen, so there is no need to have 2 Team Values in the Current Team Value entry.
The TV which matters is the TV without Low Cost Linemen, because it's the TV used to calculate the Inducements. |
