I would like to have vampire stats, just since they were updated. I think its a disservice to have them down so low.

I'm considering getting information just since the updated roster. Any thoughts on that?

Agreed - or rather, why would you include stats for the old roster?

Its because im just pulling the universally available roster stats that you can find at the top.

I wanted the information to be easily replicatable.

But that includes all 2020 stats, not just from a particular time period. If i go do a manual pull, it wont be something that anyone can just check.

You could have 2 vamps listed maybe.
1 with Vampires (Combined)
2nd with Vampires (Only New) with something in your header explaining you had to do a parse for the new that isn't easily replicated.

You can select for monthly or yearly subsets within rosterstats

Hmm. Can you do a range?

If so, how?

https://fumbbl.com/p/rosterstats?y=2024 the entirety of 2024

some months are broken currently

not sure if there's a way to do a total of certain months

Yea yea yea sure - why would you base anything on the stats of an old roster tho?
Only current roster is relevant, surely

If you had the choice to include old roster stats, why would you say yes to that?

ok, updated with vamp stats where the vampire games only consider 2024 (solid tier 2). This isn't super well done (as in, the volume of games is low), but its something that can be replicated. Thank you Java!!

What we all want to see now is Gnomes!
RDaneel put this link on the trashy thread https://fumbbl.com/p/rosterstats?y=2024&m=4 and they are doing okay really, not too bad.

Those stats also show Zons as the clear top team, which feels reasonable. I don’t quite follow why they went down a tier(below UW) in this thread.

Because we need larger volumes of games than one month. Id like a minimum of 1 year. Amazons in that have an actual 0 percent win rate against one race - they would be noticeably worse than underworld if i calculated them out. Thats a result of too few games. It isnt statistivally viable to make conclusions with that few games.

Vampires are in an odd spot where they've been around for much longer, but had a huge change that drastically changed how they play.

Given that I've got the larger volume of games to look at, and can see what the overall trend is for these new vampires, i was willing to use the 2024 stats because its roughly in the right ballpark. I should be using from nov 2023 onward rather than 2024, but a) thats still not enough volume, and b) requires significantly more effort. Given the increased effort, for not enough return, and the knowledge of what the overall trend is, im using 2024 as a 'good enough'.

Gnomes dont have such extenuating circumstances. They're simply too new and liable to be impacted both by individual coach skill, and gamefinder habits, both of which hide the overall roster stats with noise.

Great reply.

I agree re Gnomes, it is too early. I was partly just helping promote this thread to top spot! as the 15:30 BB draw was not fruitful : )
