We already have 8 teams signed up for the next OCCS Reeborc Stomp! (February2008) but I would definitely like some more! Open round robin tournaments have recently been capped at 26 teams, but I would definitely like to fill up the tournament grid with all 26 spots in February. We did it in January, lets do it again!
This Stomp! is different from the previous 2 we have had, as teams will start this Stomp! at 125TR, not as rookie teams. This will create a whole new dynamic in the Stomp! and I am looking forward to seeing how it goes.
The February Stomp! is also a GREAT jumping off point in getting a team ready for March 2008s first OCCS Major, the Cabalvision Athletic Cup 2008
So come on coaches, get your 125TR team together and sign them up over at the February 2008 Reeborc Stomp!
Also, I am still looking for suggestions for 'names' for the upcoming Stomps! If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Thank you so much for your time!

The Reeborc Stomp! February Massacre has begun (as has the rest of the OCCS 02/0 .
We kicked off early due to the fact that February has but 29 days and we all know how hard it is to schedule a game in 31 days... ouch!
Currently we have 18 teams on the tourney grid, which means that we have room for 8 more, so come on, pull togheter a 135TR LRB [L]eague division team and sign up.
Its fun to Stomp!

Regular Stomp! open play till the end of May, then a quick 10 day playoff at the beginning of June.

Ok, Mays short Stomp! open play is finished... the top 6 teams will now move to a 10 day playoffs, with the top 2 teams gaining a bye in round 1. Good luck to you all.

After an interesting running of the OCCS Reeborc Stomp! III in May and June 2008, we finally have some results.
First place goes to General Marauder and the Touring Teeth Bashers
2nd has been awarded to Omasu and his Raging Monsters
Runners up are Lucky_Eddy and Nextflux
and 2nd Runners up are Midnite and SteelThunder
The most games award was a 3 way tie, and won by Nextflux and his Grukk's Hospital BawlBoyz for having the highest win % of the 3.
I awarded everyone points this month, even those that did not play 5 games, due to the shortened schedule.

2009 OCCS Reeborc Stomp! Rookie Scramble
We have 14 teams Stomping! as of right now in the 2009 OCCS Reeborc Stomp! Rookie Scramble, and there are still 6 spots left, so come on and sign up with your 100TR rookie teams! The Rookie Scramble wants YOU!!!
For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Stomp! here is some info::
The Reeborc Stomp! is an open round robin tournament designed to give a more open format for OCCS coaches who like to play in less structured environments than the standard KO tourney, while still keeping to the high standards of competitive league play.
After the first 21 days of OPEN PLAY, the 6 teams with the most wins will be removed from OPEN PLAY and enter a KO tourney to determine the overall winner of that months Stomp! The top 2 teams will have a round 1 BYE in the KO and the other teams will be seeded based on # of wins. The remaining teams may continue in OPEN PLAY to accumulate more points for games played, but teams in the KO are not allowed to compete in OPEN PLAY any further. Strict deadlines and forfeit rules will be in place for the KO tourney as well as standard OCCS Sudden Death Overtime Rules!
Scoring for the Stomp! is as follows::
<i>(a team must play at least 5 games to receive points!)</i>
<b>Each team receives 1 point for every game played, win, lose or draw.</b>
In addition, bonus points will be awarded to the 6 teams with the most points based on their performance in the end of tourney KO:
1st Place = 30pts
2nd Place = 20pts
3rd and 4th Runners Up = 10pts
5th and 6th Runners Up = 5pts
<i>Also, the team with the MOST games played over the course of the month will also receive a bonus of 5 points.</i>
