While editing a profile today I noticed the Gender option. I've not seen it before. What does it do? I tried changing it for a few players but it didn't affect their profile pic. Does it set the gender of their sprite? Is it a new thing or have I just been oblivious up to this point?

You have been oblivious up to this point. Very Happy

It should change the way the client refers to the player (he/she/it). However, at least in some cases (female dwarves *coughs*) it doesn't work.

It has been introduced... I don't know... two years back or so? I was really happy about it, since the Agility Monsters always had female players amongst their ranks (actually some of the best players) and this was a way to go deeper into the roleplaying aspect. Smile

I like that there is a neutral option.

Gender pronouns in the client seem to be set to default....

Yeah, I've noticed that my female Wood Elves still are referred to as "he" by the client. :/

I entered this as bug 1260 a while ago. It has been marked as low priority, which I perfectly understand.

I like that skeletons are neutral while zombies are male by default. Very Happy

Yeah, I change a few of mine too.

Although one interesting thing is that Amazon line*women* can be changed to male . . . Which is quite amusing to me

Skeletons no longer have something, whilst zombies still do.

With rotters it's 50/50 depending on which bits have fallen off.
