Theres no way Faulcon would park the Skinks short of a gun to his head, surely. Even if this was an option?
Parking because you need a season away eg Interstate or Overseas extended travel with patchy interwebs yes, but Park, try another team, come back? No. That's not SWL. Maybe that costs the occasional coach, but hey, again, that's SWL.
You have one life and that's it, step outside the big league for more than a couple of months there's no way back in. Your fans have moved on, your gold has been guzzled and your players have moved on to greater or lesser things. The one season park you can justify, eg 'Wow, our ship to Albion ran aground on a deserted part of the Lustrian Coast and it took two months to flag down/steal another, get our press agent on this story we are back baby!' |

No way am I being forced to lose my Chaos team. Got an interesting backstory, had a great logo made for me and I enjoy playing them.
Besides, then the spiel would have to be: "SWL: Create A Legend. Unless a legend tries to come back in which case, enjoy your SWL: Create A New Team".  |

Ok then I guess we just continue with the status quo of guys like Tomay, Daudy, and Barre continuing to play a team they have long grown sick of playing (and everyone has grown sick of playing against) just because they can't take a few seasons to refresh with some pro elves and see if they'd enjoy themselves with less tackle. |

Yeah Poods, if this idea were to be implemented, existing teams would have priority. If someone wanted to bring back their Legend chaos team, they'd have to wait for a spot just like someone wanting to start a new chaos team. |

Ah no, I meant the cap would still apply in terms of the number of ACTIVE teams. So if you and Irgy park, the cap would still be 3 DEs. However, when you choose to return, there has to be fewer than 3 active DEs for you to be able to do so. You don't continue to take up a slot while parked - that's never been the case even now.
I guess that one off season with lrb4 skaven worked out ok, but I don't think people would be too happy if suddenly there were 6 chaos teams all of the sudden
All semantics anyway as it doesn't look like it's happening soon. I guess the feelings of this aspect being part of what the league is are valid even if I don't really agree with them. |

So what SWL really needs is someone to take over the fluff and twahnlows. If anyone is keen i can run through it with them and give them my templates and stuff. Redgum was sort of doing it but is pretty busy these days. |
