After comming back from my weekend out i noticed a small problem with our numbers...
We can't have a knockout tournament (we would need either 16 or 32 players) but i didn't reject anybody... i want all freaks in
So i currently see 3 options... i wanna know which one you guys like the best...
Option 1:
- Doing 4 groups of 5 players... which means that each round there will be a team not playing...
- Then we would have 4 Finalists that would play a knockout tournament
Option 2:
- Wait for 4 more teams to join the group... and do 4 groups of 6 players.
- Same as above... 4 finalists in the knockout tournament
Option 3:
- Doing a Round Robin tournament... scheduled matches... league like...
this gives us two possibilities...
3a) Top 4 teams play a knockout tournament to decide the finalist (this would be fair due to lucky/unlucky games during the league)
3b) Winner takes it all

Option 1. Keep it short. That's 4 - 6 games, max (assuming you end up in the finals). That means it's way more likely to actually get finished. Then we can have a second season if people are still interested.

Open round robin is not an option...
I liked the option that some ppl sugested to me... we go with option 1 and the top 3 second places will move up into the Knockout Finals...
i wanna keep on hearing your feedbacks...  |

or even better... we make five groups made out of 4 teams and the top two seccond places move up... that way all groups would be even. |

I dislike odd groups because of the pass... groups of 6 is so much better than groups of 5... Therefor I say option 2.

with the help of recent feedback i've decided to make 5 groups of 4 and the 3 best 2nd places will go up into the KO competition.
Even groups. Small Number of Matches. More likely to get over.  |
