I have this pair of nice started Woodie-Linemen prospects:
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=10067279
and
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=10067280

and I'm wondering, how to develop them... Think I'll give them [Block] with their next skill, just to keep them alive (as I'm afraid of them every turn, they are on the pitch Razz ), but afterwards - would you recommend to make them a pair of frightening Cornerbacks (with [PassBlock], [Catch], maybe (Leap] (does Leap work while using Pass Block?) and on a double maybe [Nerves of Steel]), or do you have other ideas to develop them a little "special"? Or maybe just develop them in a all usual WoodieLinemanWay???

'd love to hear some (experienced) ideas Razz

Blodge first. I like +ag as ball retrievers on woodie teams, so maybe sure hands/leap after that.

I would not give them catch. Randy_Moss has the right idea with leap and possibly sure hands. On doubles, give them guard, then leap and sidestep and forget about sure hands.

leap works on the pass block actions.

No, that's a rhetorical question.

Blodge first, then shore up weakness on your team. You cant go wrong with leap+guard or leap+sure hands.

the best course of action is keeping them alive, then worry about skill picks once you get to 51 spp

depends on your wd, and your will to let them die ^^

wana have a another blitzer for the ball and cages. wrestle + dodge + tackle + leap = 76 spp

wana have good for all, blodge and then see what comes

According to my playbook I have very defined roles for wardancers:
1. crowd surf specialist: frenzy, and possibly dauntless, side step
May get spiced up with mighty blow and assume hard hitting duties
2. sacker: strip ball, tackle

Which means unless both are agile 5, it is needed to have a ball retriever. Ideally a retriever is blodge, sure hands, leap, agility5.

There's kind of only one way to build +AG woodie linemen:

+AG
Dodge
Block
Leap
Sure Hands
Side Step

Every skill here is a single, and none of them are disputable in my opinion. I'd turn down any double, as these skills turn your everyday lineman into a force to be reckoned with.

ARGH - now I have a real problem:

One of the guys already has [Block] now, but the second rolled [+ag] for his third SkillRoll...
He could Dodge through the enymy lines as hell - but is AG6 a lot more usefull as AG5??

I really don't know, what to do... AG6 would be a cool gimmick, but not much more, I think, right? nevertheless, I don't know if I could cope with discarding a +ag roll^^
Your opinions???

I'll be the first to say it. Jimmy is right - take the goddamn ag6. It's a whole lot of fun.

AG6 for sure! Then Wrestle over Block, so you can sack with him. Like a 3rd WD, only +2 on dodges instead of Leap.

AG6 -> blodge sure hands leap
AG5 -> wrackle leap dodge

AG6 isn't really (much) better for most things, but for recovering a ball that's dropped in a cage, it's perfect.

Also, as much as a grab dancer may be fun, Mb was the way to go there. =)
