A point of interest (for me anyway).
Was a bit bored so I went through the past SWL winners. Are you telling me that Orcs have NEVER won the SWL Prem?
Slann, Elves, Flings, Gobbos, Ogres, Khemri, Necro, Pact, Underworld and High Elves being the others. Truth be told, High Elves surprise me too. Slann, Pact and Underworld not so much as they haven't been around as long but seriously? Orcs??? |

In the entire history of SWL, orcs have never won the flag.
Its something that surprised mewhen I found out, along with the other swl 'forlorn'.
It was the main justification behind both of my crp draft picks (helf and khemri).
The khemri campaign continues, at least... (well, with a short break, perhaps) |

Yup. Luo has it. I went back to season 1 (Dwarfs btw).
Well, we have a couple of Orc teams going strong at present with Erickan's boozers and the Warriors on their way. But it certainly curious. CRP i can understand with CPOMB etc, but I would have thought LRB4 would have seen a winner.
No love for the Helfs either really. |

Please remove me from this competition. When I read your guide I was under the impression that the 'reggies' table was mostly for new teams.
You matched me against a 17k team, that is ridiculous.
I don't wish to spend my gaming time leveling players on some other team.
Sorry that I messed up your schedule but I'd rather smash my head into bricks. It'd be less painful and I'd have more chance of winning.
WTF is a 17k team doing in the reggies? |

I thought undead won season 1. Snorri came super close with his orcs but fell short. I was one season away from taking it out with my unstoppable red heads when we went to CRP.

Not according to the list, but I have seen that the list of old tourneys doesn't start with Season 1. So I bow to your superior wisdom. |

Maybe this thread needs a weekly segment - "Inducement Corner" - offering advice for those with inducement $$$ to spend!
Speaking of which  - I've got 400k to spend against the SWL Manglers this week - I probably going to take the Master Chef + Wandering Apoth - but I'd be interested to know how other's would spend the money?
Edit: But semi-seriously, Lizzie, you should reconsider your decision; this is my 5th SWL season - I've been beaten around heaps, stolen a win here and there and enjoyed it immensely - I think you will too if you give it a chance  |

Leagues aren't TV-matched. That's what inducements are for...
It's not even that much of a difference with your team. The rats you were scheduled against next have only play 6 more games than your team. And the TV is total bloat from having too many players on roster. Would actually work to your advantage in that game.
