Good man.
I was given Lizardmen in my first season. Not my first choice, and I'd never played them before. I lost every game in that first season. Skinks were dying everywhere.
Eventually though, I won a conference with them. Took about five seasons of building, but the first two I had no idea what I was doing. |

There will never be an end to the mismatches. That's the thing with an asymetric game with long term development. Sometimes you will just get put into a bad situation and have to deal with it.
The situation in this season that you were ready to quit over is far from the worst you'll be in if playing this game over the long term (and in fact was a match up many coaches would drool over getting), so just be prepared.
This is especially true for a team like Zons with some hard counters - one day you are going to have to play against a Dwarf variety. |

Yes inducements are still something I haven't gotten my head around. Still pretty keen on a second apoth but I know it is rarely taken. |
