My group is awesome!

Lustrian Challenge VIII Qualifier V
- I get to lose to 'grue in round 1!
- Kryten's Monkey will get past those Khemri
- the horrific chaos go out; picking Spirit Breaker to break through Watchmen Philosophy
- Nuffle won't suck it yet as the vamps thump the orcs by scoring 3 or more

I was laughing hard when I saw I was paired with 'saw *again* in round 1... then I saw the rest of the group and thought my team mantra (in video form, click below) could be rather fitting for our group:

Qualifiers 5 & 6 are pretty loaded, as far as team talent goes..

Ya'll have fun with that, can't wait to watch all of those games.

Quali 16 is nice too..

There are a lot of good teams, as I am scrolling through. Maybe picking the 2 biggest under-dogs of each qualifier might be the way to go with the picks this Major?..

Lustrian Challenge VIII Qualifier III Prediction

Rusty Can Openers RC 0 - 1 PaddyMick Black Sun Bulwarks
Pretty tough to determine. RC isn't one to lose first round but his team isn't all that good. He's fighting against a full out guard team and plain out doesn't match that strengh. I somehow don't see an ag3 team with insufficient bash overcome such a powerhouse.

Ay! Karamba Diceskill 2 - 3 FTJUKNam Royals
Another difficult one. Diceskull has all the skills that make Elfs great but FTJUKs team is better rounded for a major. He should win this.

Thracian Heros Wreckage 2 - 1 Jeguan Smooth Exp
This Wood Elf team is not really a match for Wreckage's Slann, but Jeguan is a good coach, he'll put up a fight and it will be close.

We Will Cut You So Good CastleMan 0 - 2 Verminardo
Walpurgis 2
I have to bet on coaching skill on this one and gonna give Verminardo a small edge.


Semifinal Games
PaddyMick Black Sun Bulwarks 2 - 0 FTJUKNam Royals
Although Elves could turn this around, I think 8 guards make those Orcs the team to beat. And it's just not easy to go past that no matter what you are.

Thracian Heros Wreckage 4 - 1 Verminardo
Walpurgis 2
Although Verminados team might have had a good run, he'll find that he ran too early into Wreckage.

Final

If there is somebody who can beat those Orcs it's probably Wreckage. And I'm pretty sure he will.

Well FUMBBL fans Iam headed out to the beaches, late at night. Getting the lay of the qualifiers, talking to the fans, getting the pulse of the common man.

Once I arrive back at my pent house suite at 5AM I will pass out and then the picks will be made, locked in stone, stone cold locks!!!!

Well if you would not have passed out on the beach drinking these stupid coconut fruity drinks you would not have missed out on staggering over to that booth at the top of the beach that said....APPLY HERE FOR THE LUSTRIAN CHALLENGE!!!!!

Dhaktokh and I will be hanging out in the cabana tonight talking it up with the locals and some of the nice women who have ventured over the sea to be with us at the LC.

FUMBBl fans we have a opening round match you cannot miss. It will be a titanic thrown down on the grid iron that will leave you amazed.

it is a classic cross dressing David VS Goliath match up.

This should be epic FUMBBL fans...do not miss out on this match.

My pick....Crossdressers pull it out by the hem of their skirts in OT 3-2 but are left decimated going into round 2.

My High and Mighty Blow are 10k short of giving Rats Corner a free wizard. Still, facing a gutter who blitzes with ST5 and tackle.... is a daunting prospect. With a gutter who only needs a single push and a quality coach added into the mix, I don't like my odds all that much. Hope they go sploosh well, I guess.
