Nice links Over - people should use ones like that more often.

Re: Game finder, I tend not to use it (not for any reason). Am I right that if you just announce what your game is called (e.g. ook) then it is whoever joins, and game finder is not needed?

yup just like league, but that's not gamefinder, gamefinder lets you pick who you play against or they pick you and you accept or decline.

Thus you get a lot of Simyin-Simyin matchups.

Just played my 1st ape v ape game, was good fun, i think i'm hooked

Hi folks,

I missed all this about Ape teams. Is there a link anywhere that explains how/why what etc?

As its not LRB etc not sure if thisis an indicator of the willingness for lots of new races in [L]??

I have created my first Ape team in L and look forward to experimenting

There are other threads that go back further, and lots of "behind the scenes" stuff, but that's what most know. Admin have hinted that custom teams are NOT the future of Ranked, at least at this time.

Just played my Apes against Chaos Dwarves. It was a tight, and even match, with the Dwarves eventually tying the game in the closing seconds after winning the battle of attrition.
