I've had a crazy idea which I'm sure isn't feasible at all, so I'll just throw it out here and see what FUMBBL says...

SG, DP, Fend, +AV

SneakyGit on doubles paired with DP for reliable fouling and Fend for the option of remaining unmarked to get to the fouling target without the dodge. Should +AV come up it would help protect my specialist from being fouled out without considerable assists or luck.

The reasoning here is that outnumbering the opponent is an essential strategy for the dwarves but fouling is risky, and this build helps mitigate this. Also Longbeards are excellent linos right outta the box so I'd really only be sacrificing a guard (but I plan on putting guard on every other 'beard)...

How dumb is this build?

Very dumb. Foulers need DP and nothing more, if you then get a double I'd probably stick diving tackle on the player or retire if you want to keep your tv down

The sneaky git part isnt the best because on a doubles you could do so much more so he isn't unidimensional - dodge, diving tackle, jump up all give him more versatility. Same thing with 10s - you could take the +MA which would allow him to get into position to foul a tad easier.

Another thing people tend to do is make a kicker/fouler on the idea that you're only going to need a good kick once per game. I enjoy that sentiment as I love fouling but on a dwarf team you dont really need to foul unless you're facing a guy who piles on all the time.

A dedicated longbeard fouler only needs DP and then if he skills up through MVP's he takes Stand Firm.

Sneaky git is pointless on dwarfs because usually the victim of your dirty boot has 4+ assists all ready surrounding him thus negating any benefit of SG because you are probably going to break AV on a 3+ roll.

Sneaky Git is only good for fouling if you plan on doing a lot of unassisted fouls.

But if you get a couple of fouls in early, even if they don't succeed, it would make the fouler into a target forcing the opponent to alter their tactics and invest more manpower on the fouler so you can break through or something. In addition, being up a man or 2 can make all the difference for the dwarves.

At the same time being down a man can really throw a wrench in the works, which is why I don't foul more often, SG helps this...

That is a good point on the wasted double. SG doesn't look as good when you color in the math...

Maybe, or they might just ignore it. 3 fouls and you should be sent off statistically speaking. Also fouling isn't great especially on a team like dwarves that really struggle when they start losing players.

Yeah, I'm gonna agree with the others, DP is really the only fouling skill you'll need as a dwarf. Doubles are better for Diving Tackle, Jump Up, --DODGE--
Stand Firm and Guard should still be in his skillset at some point, especially if you plan to foul in the middle of a logjam.

On a dedicated DP NEVER, EVER take doubles or +Stats. His job is simple and straightforward and he will be sent off at some point. No need to bloat TV on this specialist on your team.

IF you are worried that your DP can get tied down and lose mobility, a concern to be sure on a MV4 AG2 player....then if he skills up take Break Tackle. Now he dodges out on a 3+, makes him more reliable to dodge out and lay a boot in.

I really do appreciate ya'll keeping me on the strait 'n narrow. I'd've been so sad if I'd burned a double and still got banned every time anyway...
