The groundhog has come out of his hole, seen Shadow, and turned and fled. That can only mean one thing...
The Exploding Cup is almost upon us! Time to gather together a rookie Stunty squad and head to the land of Goblins. You are guaranteed multiple games, and it is always great fun playing Stunty.
Before, the Goblins raised a vicious aberration of nature named Hugo and gifted him to the winner. This year they have scoured the furthest reaches of the world to find another suitable prize.
Apply your rookie Stunty Leeg team to the Qualifiers.
The Exploding Cup details.
The prize
Tournament officials are pleased to announce this year's prize for winning the Exploding Cup. Goblin recruiter Darkharvestmousetail, a scout with a keen eye and no scruples, has travelled far and (more) near (likely) to bring you the mighty...
Scarlath 'The back Scratcher' Scarly
Scouting stats: 6 3 3 7 Sneaky Git, Dirty Player, Stab
Scouting report from 'mousetail: Hobgoblins are pretty low, and when I mean low ants have difficulty limboing underneath then. However as low most Hobgoblins go, Scarlath takes the biscuit (the cookie, the crumpet, the cake and anything else this worthless sack of manure can get his hands on).
Scarlath is so low, he got a medical note from his doctor excusing him from 'full size' Blood Bowl. The note states (in extremely poor grammar and spelling) that Scarlath has the physical make up of a Snotling and can he be excused from full sized Blood Bowl for the foreseeable future. Please allow him to partcake (probably is meant to be partake) in Stunty Leeg instead.
This however isn't as low as Scarlath can go (believe me, even the devil is too shamed to look at Scarlath). Not only is he a regular sized player pretending to be a Snotling. He also doesn't play fair. Fouling, kicking, biting and spiting and then whining to the ref whenever he's called up. Yes Scarlath truly is the lowest of the low. |

I don't recall. Maybe the Goblins reneged on it? |

Damn it. I JUST made a brand new Pygmy team too. They were the last of the teams I didn't have and was still interested in playing.
I mean, that only leaves CFlings, Cheaters, Slaves and Snots. The three most common cheesiest teams and Snots. Bummer. |

On my list of things to do from now until kick-off: prevaricate about what team to bring, then apply at the last minute in a panic with a terrible pun-based theme team! |

So is the Exploding Cup open for applicants? I notice it does not start until April...so that is quite a ways off. Still, I have never played in stunty but the appeal of an all rookie stunty tournament sounds exciting! |

I am glad I asked. I initially looked at the date and though I have a lot of time, cool. And then I thought about it and said if I have so much time, why are they advertising now? Well, I made a team and I am ready to go. I think. |
