Hello, my name is Russell and I am the scout for the Green Tide. In my travels across the world I meet many interesting teams which I will document for you here.
So here we go with my first ever scouting report, I give you:
The Shikaakwa Bears
The Bears are a human team who love two things, defense and running the football. Here is a player by player breakdown of the squad.
1) Wo'rg'n'Pawwth "the Fridge" Ogre 5529 loner, bone-head, throw team-mate, mighty blow, thick skull, leap, juggernaut
The Fridge is a crowd favourite but it is not for his devastating blocking! This big guy likes nothing more than to leap into the endzone to score touchdowns which all of his team-mates love (unless of course they happen to have the big lunk land on them!)
2) Matteus Fortune Blitzer 7338 block, catch, dodge, side step, sure hands
Fortune has maybe the best hands of any human blitzer in the world. Always a threat out of the back field.
3) Wilbur "Sweetness" Paxton Blitzer 7338 block, dodge, fend, break tackle, side step, sure feet, sure hands
Possibly the greatest human to ever run the football. Almost impossible to tackle.
4) Giles "The Comet" Sawyer Blitzer 8338 block, dodge, kick-off return, side-step, sprint, sure feet *Niggling Injury
Sawyer is as fast as a skaven but he has a weakness, his dodgy knee. Hit him there and he wont get up.
5) Marcus Dictator Blitzer 7338 block, catch, dodge, fend, guard, sure hands
This guy is tough and skillfull, especially in the short range passing game. Don't mess with him!
6) Jake Cutlass Thrower 6338 loner, hail mary pass, strong arm, sure hands, pass
This guy has a great arm but a lousy attitude. His accuracy is hit and miss as well.
7) Lancelot Brigand Lineman 6338 block, mighty blow, tackle
A good solid tackler
8)Bran Uskhacker Lineman 7338 block, mighty blow, tackle, pass block
Surprisingly fast for such a big man, and able to drop back into pass coverage.
9) Marcus Singlederry Lineman 6338 block, mighty blow, tackle, leader
This guy is the brain of the defence, but don't be fooled he can still hit hard.
10) Dirk Bukley Lineman 6338 block, dirty player, mighty blow, tackle, piling on, strip ball *Niggling Injury
Bukley is a nasty piece of work and make sure you are not lying on the floor when he is around.
11) Ricardo Dental Lineman 6338 block, grab, stand firm, pass block
A monster who loves nothing more than killing quaterbacks. Dangerous
12) Carsten "Peanut" Tillerman Lineman 6338 pass block, shadowing, strip ball, tackle
Brilliant at marking catchers but he specialises in causing fumbles.
13) Ike Braun Lineman 6338 tackle, diving tackle, strip ball
Ike is used as the last line of defence as he has a great tackle that often causes the ball to come lose as well.
14) Damien Hamper "The Daminal" Lineman 6338 block, guard, pile on, pass block
He is nicknamed the Daminal as he is a lunatic on the pitch. Stay well away from.
15) James Overt Lineman 6338 block, guard, stand firm, wrestle
A huge man who is almost impossible to move, protects the thrower well.
16) Jake Hilldenburg Lineman 6338 block, guard, stand firm, wrestle.
Cutlass' second defensive pillar and another extremely difficult player to move. |

Discovered a bit more about this team:
Shikaakwa is a cold and windy place situated on the shore of a huge lake surrounded by a massive thick pine forest.
2419: The Bears originally started out as an amateur side for the local timber concern Hallas Lumber Ltd (of “we fell it and sell it!” ad fame) and soon become the dominant team in the area, due in part to hiring all of the biggest, meanest and maddest men in the area and giving them cushy jobs so they could concentrate full time on football. The team developed a hard-nosed running style as they found it was hard to throw the ball with hands covered in tree sap but it was brilliant for avoiding fumbles. Mr Hallas finally decided to go pro with his team in 2419 and took the name The Bears from the ferocious local grizzly bears that stalked the forests and were his lumberjack’s biggest fear. |
