Don't think you can declare any type of Blitzers as THE best over all.
It depends very much on what you think a blitzer is used for in your team and, ofc, if you look on a rookie blitzer, a veteran or even further developed.
For a rookie blitzer, I'd go with the Pro Elf Blitzer in this poll.
Decent ST and AV, good MA and AG combined with the common Blitzer Block skill and on top Side Step. Easy early Blodge/SS when experienced. 110k isn't cheap, but you'll get something for your money. |

Blitzing!
Then Marking.
Then Balling, if needed. |

Amazon, Orc, and Human Blitzers all are 0-4 with S access, that's the big differentiator. You can have 4 Guards and/or POMBs from them.
On a player-by-player basis, I think it's Underworld, then Pro Elves. |

I think I have to say Slann, once they've developed.
There's just something fun about being able to land in the middle of a cage, mark the ball carrier with DT, guard for other blocks that might be coming, and Blodge + Stand Firm to ensure that he's still there to make life hell for that ball carrier.
And, you still have Jump Up, and POMB if you really wanna get nasty.
For a rookie though, Pro Elves give the most bang for the buck |

He ! Where is my bullcentaur ? Yes they don't have the name but blitz is their life, in defense and in offense. And they are good from the begining, even better with time. And they are the perfect fit for their team. |

Orcs and all the Elves are better than Humans. Probably put them at 7th.
Slann are pretty bad.
Elfs are best overall, U/W make the best killers. |

For me UW is the best blitzer in the game.
I also love Wolfs for the blitzer role but they need at least one double, ideally two. |

Slann for me, because of the versatility. Their broad access to skills enables you to purpose build a surfer, a killer an anything you want basically.
I agree with previous posters that they are kinda horrible as rookies due to their high starting cost, but MAN they rule once they have some skillz. |

Yes Av 7 is horrible but only the Norse comes with 3 skills typically taken on a blitzer. If you can get one to superstar or even legend then they will have more skills dedicated to blocking than any other positional.
For a paltry 15spps your looking at
Block
Frenzy
Jump Up
Mighty Blow
Pile On
Even if they die a lot you don't need a large amount of investment to make them amazing Start adding toys like Juggernaut to cancel fend with Tackle to cancel dodge and you have the ultimate killer of any developed ball handler. From there you still have two more skills that you could tag on them as they move toward legend. Take dauntless and Pro and no player on the the pitch would be safe. Even Morg would need to keep one good eye on him.
Anyone wish they could change there vote?? Norse - case closed in my mind.
Oh yeah - he gets all of those skills on normal rolls making him one super cheep legend. |

I guess wardancers are in a league of their own, eh? |

I think it would be interesting to differentiate between 0-2 skills, 2-4 skills, and 5-6 skills.
Slann would go from around the bottom to around the top (depending on whether you prioritize bash or utility; they can do it all. All elves would go from the top to the bottom (assuming normal rolls), and the S access ones would go from midlow to midhigh imo. |
