Well, we tried to get a game going yesterday but apparently noone had the guts to take up a fight against us, the real elfs! However, since we are about to take a few days of to travel here we thought it was a good move to check out the other teams.

Rat Queens: A female dwarfteam, and we all know what that means. Short legs and big beards! Basicly they will bash their way to the endzone, and there is nothing wrong with that tactic except that with their speed they can call themselfs lucky IF they get there before tha match ends. And, can they pick up the ball at all?

Theran Lady wolves: Another team of women, but human amazons this time and thats more in our own style. They are both tough, agile and fast so they will be interresting to play against. They also have a few players that really stands out
like Rose and Florence. For not being elfs, they are not bad at all.

Crazed Cubicle Dwellers: Here is a team with that have lots of experience, and on paper, they can be very hard to play against. They can pass, bash and run with the ball when they have to, in theory that is. But Do they have what it takes in reallity?

Nasty Disposition [LOL]: A smelly and brutal orcteam with lots of experience in the team and they have three players that you really have to watch out for. Styxx, who is their primary ballcarrier with Stich'emup as a very good backup but most dangerous of them all is Danial Hit'em Hard!!! who does exactly what his name says. But they are slow, not as slow as dwarfs but still very slow.

Three Stupids: Four big ogres run this team and the rest is made up of, snotlings! Snotlings? Well, they are indeed hard to pin down but when you do, they are gone. But they have those ogres and atleast Larry and Moe are very dangerous. They have the possibility to turn everything in their favor, or the opposite since they have some tendencis to just, ignore everything and except picking their noses.

Hold the Line(men): This is the only team that can keep up with us on our own terms when it comes to agility and passing, and they have a very good ballhandler in Pat who both are good with the ball and can run like the wind. He can very well be a candidate for breaking some records in touchdowns this season.

Muadastein LoLers: Some people say they suck, but thats because they are Vampires and not because they are lousy. They have Countess Draculiax to carry the team and he surrounds himself with some thralls that do the dirty work. Nothign that stands out in any way but they can do everything pretty okay and no weak links. Except for Countess Draculiax who may fall for his own desire to drink blood.

Well, we will do our best to keep up with those teams and we wish everyone good luck out there and may the best Elf win!

Well time to semi-necro this thread for a quick gloat.

Halfway through the season and the Pitifuls look like they will be topping the table in D1 after round 4.

The Pitifuls won another revenge match against a team that put them out in the knockout stages in the previous season.

The win was despite the induced Saw only stunning one Norseman before falling on his own whirling blades to a desperate -2bd blitz. With 130k of inducements out the window things looked bleak for the decayed hoard.

However, Devious, the team's dirty player, out did himself by landing 9 fouls without the ref noticing. Giving the rotters a numerical advantage that allowed them to turn the ball over for a 1st half score.

A classic drive lead by Sulf'aleph the team's stat freak ball carrier made it 2-0 halfway through the 2nd half, before a sequence of lightning blizes by the same decayed monstrosity, along with some seriously elvish ball handling, saw the score set to 3-0 in the dying seconds.

With two consecutive 3-0 wins under their belt the only team that could overtake the Pitifuls at this half way mark are their arch rivals the Brats who would need to win their 4th round match with a score difference of +4 (or +3 and a cas difference of +6!) to take the mid season top spot.

Let this be a warning to all who meet the Pitifuls in the knockout stages - they come back stamping the next season!
