im surprised no one jumped on slann yet, they are the same stat line as humans but with a 3+ leap for 10k more!
Hewmans: 15 lineman 4 rerolls and apo 1000tv (all the foulss!!!)
Slann: 13 frogs 4 rerolls 980tv *20k save for apo* (always a full team of 3+ leapers)
Skaven: 12 rats 4 rerolls 840tv (star fanatic with disturbing presence and foul appearance as well as extra for blood babe etc OR ag4 gutter runner with stab, shadowing and prehensile tail for 160)
Cdwarf: 13 HobGobbos 4 rerolls 800tv (get the stunty blodge chainsaw star and a babe)
Lizardmen: 11 skinks 1 krox 3 rerolls 980tv (or play with removing krox for skink/reroll)
Khemri, Undead, Necro and vamp seem underpowered from low stats and expensive rerolls and may include previously suggested positionals but for now
Khemri: 11 skeletons 3 rerolls 650tv (Either Ithica [sure hands ag3 ball holder]/ Setekh [str 4 bt, jugg, block, strip baller], stab skeleton and a babe against a 1000tv team
OR
3 rerolls 13 skeletons 730tv (Stab and chainsaw skeletons and babe or Ithica/Setekh)
Undead: (same as khemri with no ithica and pick between skeletons and zombies)
Vamp: 4 rerolls 12 Thralls 760tv (Star Str4 Werewolf or Chainsaw and babes/bribe)
Necro: Same as Vamp but with zombies OR 3 rerolls 14 Zombies 770tv (chainsaw skeleton and 2 babes/bribe or Setekh)
Now that there's some inspiration team builds for those coaches who have interest in joining, let's try and fill out the races! |

I was quite surprised Skaven and Slann are not taken yet, plus a Hobgoblin team sounds awesome. |

There's a box hobgoblin team floating about somewhere. Something Slaves, or Slaves no more. Don't quite remember.
I'm surprised Slann haven't been taken, since they're pretty well priced. The lack of blitzers and skill access really hurts them, though. |

I dont see it written anywhere but if so then hobs thralls and zom/skel teams are going to struggle big time and would need a big guy like the stunties from low stats high rr and no skills |

but the team set ups were different and most teams could pick a big guy of some sort, therefore stanley can either fully copy it and allow the same positionals for those teams or allow star players
*edit: huh must've seen big guys somewhere else, regardless the point stands that without star players/ some sort of positional zom/skel teams will suffer and be practically identical as they are all close to the same price which is super boring for both coach and opponent with thralls hobs and rotters beating skeletons (+ag and mv) and skeleton beating zom (+mv and thickskull being only slightly worse than +av). I mean it makes sense that ag2 teams get a big guy so they have the "bashy but no handling" theme even in a skill less league |

surely he can do whatever he wants. giving some races bigger guys its understandable to give them a chance. but star players are destroying the idea of league of linemen |

They rules that are used are stated on the league page, the infbowl rules were used by Stanley as suggestions. Some teams will be more powerful then others, there is little to do about that. Amazons, elfs and norse has good linemen from scratch, and teams such as chaos pact has great development potential. Half the races are like humans but straight up better, and half would be straight up worse. One way to go is to balance all the "sub-par" teams and give out big guys and maybe one positional to half the races, if we did that many players have to remake their teams (not the end of the world, but not great). The other way to roll is to allow star players, as the rules are now you can make a 11 zombie/thrall team with 2-3rr and buy von drakenborg each game, von drakenborg would hogg half your spp but you would probably do decent in the tourney. |

As a bias fling coach I say star players are a great idea to level out and stick with the lineman trend as well as give a risk reward system as the coach has to really strategise on the compostion of the team each game to fit the tv and to spread the spp |

I assumed no star players too. It was like that in infbowl. But to be fair that clause was not mentioned anywhere here. |

Maybe it can affect the point system so each star player is minus 1 to your league score? So a win would be 2 points instead of 3 points if you use a star, and 2 or more stars is only 1 point from having an advantage and expecting to win but the team gets no points from draws or losses as they disgrace the stars or some fluff like that |

We will talk about about it.
The question is partly about lore: are the linemen league a bunch of second rate nobodies, students playing after hours, an amateur league playing behind the bar at weekends? Or are they rich kids playing around, nobles with little skills or talent involved in a dangerous hobby? If we are nobodies, then no stars would make sense, if rich kids, then we might hire a star to play with for daddy's money. |
