Made it to the final, but it was bloody... Next round assuming EoE makes it will likely be just as bad. Plus side I may have 1mil in inducements... so it could be fun as well. |

The first qualifier championship match is slated to kick off in a little over 10 hours or so (06:00 BBTime). It is qualifier #6 and will pit the KHE Ancient Pharoahs vs the High Elf Vailwynd Valiant's. The KHE will be getting 370 in inducements. It should be interesting to see what choices the coach makes (Actually the coach already knows what he is taking, but he's not letting anything leak to the press at this point in time)!
Star players to keep an eye on in this one include a High Elf Thrower with Accurate, Strong Arm, Sure Hands, Dodge, and +MV; a High Elf Catcher with Dodge, Leap, Strip Ball, Wrestle, and +AG; and a High Elf Lineman with Dodge, +MV, and +AG. For the KHE, they have a monster Toub Guardian with ST7 (2 +ST) and Block; 2 other Tomb Guardians with Block, Mighty Blow, and Guard, and 2 Blitz-Ra's with Tackle, Mighty Blow, Frenzy, and Piling On (1 also has Jump-up and the other also has Guard).
This should be a fun match to watch, so come on out and spectate the match and /stomp, /cheer, /boo, /laugh! |

The High Elves take the win after a crazy match that saw pretty good dice for both coaches. There weren't many turn-over dice at all. A big mistake by the KHE coach (me) on turn 8 cost me a possible score to tie it up. However, the KHE took their toll out in blood. The Elves will be entering the final 16 a lot lighter in TV. You can see the damage here.
Move broke a level 4 blitzer; AG broke a level 5 thrower that is 2 points from level 6; killed a wrestle lineman; and on turn 16 a gang-foul killed another lineman with dodge, +AG, and +MV (was also already move busted too tho).
It was a bloody and costly affair, but the Elves did at least pull out the 3-2 win. |

Are the qualifiers played on the skaven pitch or just the main tournament? Either way I'm a big fan of the customised pitches and would support them being switched on when they should be. |
