This reporter is abolutely imbiased, loves Glorioud Stallions team, but is having shocked that such a disgracedful happening has happened. Coach Luo should get put in the sack! And beaten! With small flying night-rats, I don't know, is custom in Empire.
All signs pointing at reason Stallions not win Bowl. Need proper students, mens of intellectuals! Not pigswill, tevern-sotting bully boys! |

Das Hochland Signalhorn: Sports Section
Outlaws Tour: We were Robbed!
Gerhardt Bogenschütze - Chief Games and Sport Hunting Editor
Hochland was sad to learn of the Outlaws BloodBowl Team's brutal introduction to the CBBA, greeting them on their return to find the team battered and bruised after three tough losses on the tour.
Head Coach Diedrick "m0gw41" Mohr stated in his homecoming press conference: "The lads weren't ready, wrestling boar is not the same as trying to take down ag4 blodgers and our freshers were just not at the same level as more battle hardy and well funded older students. However the lads are all healthy and already looking faster and stronger. We are going to give our local rivals hell in the next round of conference games."
Now that the regular quail hunting season is finished, The Signalhorn will have it's roving reporter at every game of the upcoming conference. |

...a conversation from the Guisonne Athenaeum a very select Gentlemens Retreat.
Coach LeBob - Have I proven myself yet ?? Hey? taken the Yhetees, the reigning champs, to a draw then rampaged all over the Panthers. What else do i have to do?
Unknown Voice - Thats not enough. When we hired you we expected a title. We need to win the war not just battles.
Coach - I want that bloody walking pot plant off my case. Gives me the creeps.
Unknown Voice - Until we see continued improvement Chelm will continue as your chaperone. You still havent built the team we expected by now.
Coach - Bloody hell, do you see whats happened out there ? Do you even watch the games ? The last of those "special" players you got me just nerfed himself. I don't know what you gave them but they imploded real quick. 3 guards gone in quick time, I need some more or at least some guys that will tough it out.
Unknown Voice - Renaud will play on, and Eudes is all we promised, yes ? Be assured Mr LeBob the players we send you will continue to be the best we can find or make. Its up to you to make them into a team.
Coach - By gods i need a drink.
Unknown Voice - Chilled water on the table sir, enjoy as much as you like. Now i have other matters to attend to, good day Mr LeBob. My regards to your lovely wife and children.
Coach - Thats Coach LeBob you rat bastard. |

Griffins Expected No Less
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
The Griffins are off to a tremendous start to their Season 5 campaign with three victories. Even more impressive has been the teams defence, as they have successfully shut out all their opponents. When asked about the success coach Tomay insisted that he expected no less of his team and that there are still areas for improvement. "We should have scored another two touchdowns against the Outlaws."
The Griffins are looking like strong CBBA Bowl contenders but will have to overcome the toughest Inter Conference leg schedule in the league to get there. |

Stallions and Yhetees To Have Ramifications
The CBBA Bowl rematch is scheduled for the third round of action to close out the Touring Leg. The game is set to have major ramifications as both teams have already dropped a win. If one of these teams are defeated, it could spell the end for their bowl ambitions.

Eagle Eye One Of the Greats
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
Klopstock, The Griffins Captain is quickly earning a reputation as the best leader in the CBBA after guiding his team through the Touring Leg undefeated. Klopstock has emerged as the undisputed heart and sole of the team, guiding his team mates around the pitch as a positional mastermind which has seen the team maintain the best defence in the league. Klopstock attributes his leadership qualities and knowledge of the game to the mastercoaching received from Tomay. "I'm lucky to have a legend of the game to learn from."
On top of his captaincy, Klopstock has also honed his individual skills becoming a legitimate passing threat while being willing to get into the grind. His ability to pounce on a bouncing ball and clear it to his team mates isn't going un-noticed by the pro leagues. |

Utter Outrageous Cheating in Nuln
Urlso Press
An extremely enjoyable game today at Nuln saw another disgraceful loss by the Bears. However it was marred by the blatant cheating that is so prevalent among the empire sides. It saw an enjoyable first half full of action, including the opposition blatantly sneaking bombs onto the pitch.
Okay, this publication can live with that. But there was no attempt to send off the cheater. Apparently, CBBA rules are such that Nuln City are actually allowed to bring bombs onto the pitch. What a disgrace, but yet another example of how the competition favours the commissioners precious empire-based sides. |

Nuln break Their Loosing Streak!
A party Rages tonight At the Gunners stadium with Coach Geoffro bringing in a much needed win for the homeside.
In a public announcement the new Coach stated he was pleased with a win moving him up a place and not finishing last in his conference. Extra training and a slightly more relaxed approach to curfew's and after game activities has perhaps paid off
In other news the Gunners will be set to play their ultimate rivals Griffons and Scorpions in the next few weeks. Coach Geoffro stressed these would be tough games for his rookie team but there heads are held high after performing quite well vs the Bears
Coach DrDiscoStu has lodged a formal complaint with the CBBA committee after this morning's game. Gunners use of a Bomb throwing madman laid waste to multiple players with no intervention from referee's at all. Stu said he was appalled at this outrage and that all empire state teams seems to get away with doing what they like on the pitch.
Will this go any further or will the Gunners keep hurling bombs away as they please with no real cares from the CBBA at all?

Debbys Does The Southerners Conference
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
Gomez, Royier, Orsini, Elmhollow - These are the biggest names in the CBBA and they're all here in the Southerners Conference. Which one of them will lead their team to take out the Conference, let's take a look...
The Southerners Conference is Back! After a dissapointing Season 4 in which the Conference failed to represent in the Bowl Round, the Southerners Conference has become the "it" group of Season 5. Like the Frostbelt from Season 4, the Southerners have emerged to either dominate their touring group or at the very least maintain respectability. Surely this season they will have a team in the bowl round right?
The Eagles are emerging as favourites to take out the division and even make the CBBA Bowl. Though the Griffins are still the favourites to win CBBA Season 5, the Great Eagles have firmed in odds to become second favorites. Clearly they look destined for a Bowl Birth. None of the three remaining matchups should frighten them so long as they can maintain their flamboyant high scoring performances. Their week 1 matchup against the Confederates looms as the most threatening though, with the Feds having the firepower and speed to maybe matchup against the Eagles Air Raid offense.
The Confederates are the only team that can stop the Eagles on the current form line. They'll need Gomez to be at his best if they're going to do it but with their speed and power they can trouble the fragile Eagles. Even a draw might be enough to give the Feds a shot if they can hope on the Eagles dropping a game to the Chevs or Diavoli. Speaking of those two teams, the Feds are good enough to beat them both, but neither game is going to be easy.
The Diavoli are much improved but benefited from a weaker Touring Group. They showed their weaknesses against the Bulls and were dominated, not the best way to end the Touring Leg. They are candidates to bounce back, but realistically they are probably looking at peaking next season. They'll need to find some support for Orsini if they are to do so.
Finally, the Chevaliers have been disappointing again. They're meant to be the heavyweights of the Southerners Conference and contenders in the CBBA as a whole. Coach Bobs will be looking for a strong finish to the season to re-establish his reputation. The team itself is lacking strike power outside Royier which is an issue that needs to be addressed if they are going to successfully take on the rest of the division.
Prediction:
Eagles - 16
Confederates - 11
Chevaliers - 8
Diavoli - 6 |

Debbys Does The Great North Road Conference
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
It's been a dissapointing Touring Leg for the teams from the GNR. While the Clippers were respectable and the Wolfpack were good (but not great) the Manticores and Harlequins were underwhelming. So whats in store for the rest of the season in the GNR?
The Wolfpack will be licking their lips at the prospect of playing their three remaining teams amongst this competition. They're certainly not the most exciting team to watch but their scrappy determined style gets results. They should be able to grind out the rest of the season and finish comfortably on top, perhaps with an opportunity to defend their Red Ribbon Bowl.
The Clippers weren't very impressive in their Touring Leg with only a narrow victory over the Cockerels to show. A draw against the Bulls was probably their best showing since D_Arquebus took over. Unfortunately for Clippers fans, they did the typical Marienburg thing of backing it up with an unspectacular display. Lucky the Manticores haven't got it together yet and the Harlequins can't keep a team on the pitch.
The Manticores have all the talent to take it to the next level but we're waiting to see it from coach Pyates. While the college is shrouded in mystery, there are murmers that the Conference Leg will be the coach's farewell tour. If so, expect the team to ramp it up in order for Pyates to leave in style. If they can manage an upset against the Wolfpack it could actually make the conference interesting.
The less said about the Harlequins recent run the better. The team is struggling with player turnover as always. There are flashes of potential, however coach cdwat will need his players to toughen up if they are going to start getting some results.
Prediction:
Wolfpack - 15
Clippers - 8
Manticores - 5
Harlequins - 2 |

Southern Draw
It'll be a much more closely fought battle for the Anfora this season. Even our beloved Diavoli have done the business against the North, and look to continue winning in the Southern Conference. All the Southern teams did well in the Touring Leg, so it seems likely that teams will not only be playing for the prized Southern trophy, but also for a place in the Bowl.
Tilea's efforts were only blighted by that disaster in Verezzo. Those Horse Asses were awful hosts, again showing how Remo made the right decision in refusing them a home game last season. Hopefully the Diavoli will never have to play in that backward village ever again.
But there is good news. The Diavoli have been bolstered by another fine local Leopard. Angry Alf Viti joins the team after the career ending injury to Carmelo Forni.
The first of two games of the home conference are away. And then we will welcome the Eagles to Tilea so they can return the Anfora to where it belongs
The true table of the Southern Conference can be found HERE |

Those cheats! Dirty Bretonnians! As the game started the crowd charged in and attacked the whole team. Only Rocco was left standing.
Luckily I was safe on the sidelines for the first drive. Glad I'm not needed at all next week. I hear they're even dirtier across the Border.

Erengrad University public statement to favour making war on Averland
Averland scum hide magic lead weights in gear, is only explanation, hit like chaos fiends who they worship. Ball again made slippery after every score. So many scores, but never slippery for Averlanders, magic again, chaos scum. Would not matter, can accept that cheaters win, is life, but for Olga Belyakov, greatest wrestler ever, is only death.
Apothecary, again, busy treating Maksym, was soon hurt second time. Ignatyev is also medic, extended family, always caring for Maksym first. Olga killed, great woman. Referee ban Evgeny, for nothing! Svitlana has hand smashed. Game only starting. Fans boo. Team confused, not horsey boys now, but Yhetees.
Game is feast of scoring. They get ball, they take forward, they win. All in front of Yhetees home crowd. So much booing, but nothing changes. Fans have great anger, families have great anger, city has great anger, great nation of Kislev all has great and righteous anger at stinking cheating Averlanders killing legend of wrestle bowl.
Such great woman. Inspiration to team. Murdered. War is only answer. Unrelated, bloated coaching budget of wrestle bowl team is being cut, family and friends of head coach suspended, from gallows. No exceptions. End message. |

AVERHEIM UNIVERSITY GAZETTE
Completely Impartial Reporting since Imperial Court Injuncture, 11 Jahrdrung 2513
Bloody Bowl Rematch Revenge
A troubled Stallions team put their issues behind them and put on an incredible display of College Blood Bowl while revisiting last season's Bowl final in Erengrad.
The game showcased the talents of new recruits Woldred Anschlact and Bromnand Steiger. The two new 'Horsemen' scored all 5 touchdowns between them, completely overshadowing the momentous moment when Nicolai Reinwald cut short the career of Erengrad's resident strongwoman, Olga Belyakov.
This comprehensive victory has momentarily silenced critics of the team who have recently been vocalising their discontent in team management. The Gazette has further been told that a new addition to the Coaching Staff will be announced shortly; it has been revealed however that this addition is a former SWL elite player with a flamboyant style.
All signs thus point to the Stallions management's proactive stance, and the continued success of the team. |
