The hard counter for undead and lizards are wood elves. The hard counter for Dorfs and Orcs is claw. So what is the counter to woodies? |

Guard, surehands and pitch removal whether that means TPOMB or Fouling.
And even then you have to use your noggin. They're a good team, is what it is. |

There is no hard counters, except dwarfs vs amazons/stunties.
Versus wood elfs you need players with block, tackle and/or mighty blow. Guard, Diving tackle, piling on and the like are also great. |

Well-built humans and orcs (multiple tackle killers, guard support, dp linemen) can often rip through wood elves.
BTW, I think wood elves are more a counter against chaos than they are against undead; undead tend to get tackle earlier, to get blodge sure hands earlier, and to foul more. |

Tackle and MB are good counters vs WEs. |

Aren't wood elves the only team that has a winning record vs undead in NAF tournaments? |

Starting woodelves dont have many skills or re rolls. So teams that make them roll alot of dice work well. Halflings are therefore the natural enemy of woodelves |

Don't you say this about all the teams? |

It's not so much roster as it is build. Fast(ish) hitters with TacklePOMB, enough Guard and Sure Hands on the ball carrier.
At high TV Nurgle also have a good counter, they often have a Beast and a +ST Warrior with Tents and Stand Firm, and 5x Distrubing Presence, so very hard to one-turn against and generally very good at locking you down, if they position well. |

Orcs, humans and Norse are all good at killing elf teams imo |

Humans are the true bane of wood elves. Fast players, tPOMBers and sure hands BC. Woodies are powerless against that.
Norse are too squishy and orcs too slow. |

Here are some fun stats from tabletop: http://naf.talkfantasyfootball.org/tr_110.html
Only Dwarves have a (very slightly) positive win expectation at 110 TR vs Wood Elves! |

Gotta agree with foulscumm. Nurge counters everything.
It's not rock paper scissors, it's rock rock paper. |
