SWL Legends LXVI
Update: It took nearly 3 weeks for what had been widely speculated to be confirmed. SWL's all time 4th highest spp legend, PSA's Night Patrol has been retired. The serious concussion dished out by White Fluffy Stuff ghoul laviini proved too much for coach Daudy. Bye bye Night Patrol - the first Blood Bowl Legend I ever faced.
And I believe that gives laviini the 2nd Black Pearl to be awarded. |

4th highest? Not bad, even with CRP. From memory I wasn't too far off #3, but the two bulls on parade are in their own league.
Was eventually worn down. Given a niggle in a freaky game against Semi's Darkstar Corsairs where a Witch rampaged through our team, junk time fouled into death by Carl only to be saved with a fractured skull by the apo, before almost identically being declared dead in the game against poley before being 'saved' with a serious concussion instead.
Surprisingly to me, it was only about 11ish games between both -av results, but it felt a lot longer than that between them (even with my absence considered).
Retirement officially happened late last night, and was actually a pretty quick decision in the end despite the posturing. Night Patrol is said to have taken up music as a hobby. Maybe I'll write a fluff post later.
But the big news is 2nd Pearl claimed! A few are inactive and no new inductees this season, so they're rare occasions. Given his first -av was pretty much only a result of Pearl status (which is sort of part of the fluff), it's probably about time we got the ball rolling beyond just Foul Frank's head  |
