Wellcome Blood Bowl fans to OBC Sports FUMBBL CUP Special!

This afternoon we could hear "Left My Heart In San Francisco" coach Zed, on a CABLE VISION RADIO interview, wondering about...in his own words..."what's the record for a stunty team, round wise in the FC? I bet grandfathered ogre went pretty far but gobs or flings wise what's the number?"

Well my friend...the answer is...

GOBS hold the record!!! 3 wins and...the team vanished without further notice before round 5 game...in last year's FUMBBL CUP!

Yes my friends, this gob team EtARRrnal Green Champions defeated a 1570 tv Human team in this Round 2 game after a bye in Round 1.
Then, they beat some 1820 tv Wood Elves in Round 3 and went on by beating a 2010 Orc team in Round 4.
More Orcs were waiting for them in Round 5 but those gobs never showed up. Just the night before the game, milions of gold coins were robbed from McNultie's HQ, main sponsor of the FUMBBL CUP that year...

Well, FUMBBL fans the row of a 100 Taverns is going nuts right now. Left my Heart in San Fran has now tied the stunty record for most wins in the FC! Can they accomplish what many have said was impossible, can they win 4 in a row?

Well, the fans will digest and contemplate that question another day. Today it is time to party on and get raging drunk!

Rumors are flying around the "row" that the San Fran team will be at the only 3 star restaurant on the "row" later tonight. They are going to eat like kings tonight and sign autographs and party with the fans.

Can these flings be stopped? not this time

Looks like a lot of people avoided the CD vs CD game (and I can't blame them), and nearly all those who did wager made it the 1 or 2 pt pick. With the notable exception of Jeguan. Glad to help you out there, buddy Wink

Honestly, I had no idea who was going to be win this game before it started. Our wizard was better than their wizard.

Will fully admit to taking one look at that mirror (okay, that's a lie, I checked the teams thoroughly) and then deciding I wasn't touching it with a bargepole.


Two good teams, one heavier with claw, but the other well stocked with guard. Two s5 bulls, one with ag3, but a rookie partner, and one with frenzy/bt and a carrier hob. One team with great pedigree beating off other cdorfs... but giving up a wiz. And two strong coaches.


Yeaaaaah... That's one that just looks painful. I actually loathe it when an over-dog uses petty cash to induce a wizard, but in a tournament, and especially this game, it was absolutely the right thing to do, especially with the disparity in claw; it could have went very, very differently.
