To be fair, for many coaches NCBB is done for the sake of NBFL. |

To be fair, see what I did there? :}
The Blood Sea Buccaneers have entered their 14th season of play.
The team averages around 90-100 matches before the team totally implodes and has to be dismantled to the ground. Firing the vast majority of players and starting from scratch. I have done 2 seasons where I rebuilt from TV 1000 and TV 1050.
Teams like the Buccaneers who have over 1400+ matches in total..... we have built up, torn down, got torn down, beat up upside the head so many times we are always redrafting our team.
For tournament players the "beef" is that some teams are built up to the 2200+TV range, optimized and never ever play out side of tournaments. Thus, they never have to seem to rebuild or get beat up.
Some coaches want Season play just because it hurts the high TV tournament teams that only play in Majors/minors and smacks in R/B play. |

Go ask Billbrasky what season the WMD in the Box are on. Most likely around season #50 with as many times as those guys have been decimated to the point of 4 rookie CW's and 3 Jmen Linemen. Some just remember the golden times when WMD are sitting at 2200+TV and plying their trade and forget about the 100 matches that follow when they are lucky to be at 1500TV and sucking it up in the Box. |

No it doesn't. Not if it's voluntary, and you'd only end season 'cuz you're in Journeyman hell. Then it just documents it. |

To me that seems like the only way to give the masses what they want. Abortions for some, tiny american flags for others. |

Read the help section on Ranked and Box as they have the definitions for each division.
Ranked is a place for competitive open TV play within the confines of the latest rule set.
Box is a place for competitive matched TV within the confines of the latest rule set.
League is a place for user run leagues and other games to be played outside of the ruleset.
As seasons are a part of the rules (for better or worse) arguably the only division that should not have seasons implemented fully is League.
So if you don't want to play them make a League team and play without season |
