i'm not a "strategic seer" but:
- i think during my opponent's turn
- i know well the basic concepts of the game, which mean i don't need to think for 3 minutes to check if i do roll 2db or only 1. some players just select every player and then check how much db they got: annoying.
- i play at TR<200, which means few skills, thus should ensure a faster pace. |

Devil's advocate counter argument: Why wouldn't you want your opponent to play the best game they know how, even if it means long turns? I want a challenge, therefore I don't mind if they take a long time.

Compare it to the NFL - teams have 35 (or so) seconds to get in the huddle, call the play, and snap the ball. So why not give them 2 mins to make sure they call the perfect play? Because, part of being a good player is being able to make wise decisions in a limited amount of time.

does lamer exist? I tought about it when I saw all those foul threads. If I hate oppenent foul attitude I would make wait him for longggg. But I do not hate fouls and never had to complain with an opponents behavior.
And beside this, I'm not a lamer. |

Tsk tsk...comparing it to real life!! Shame on you!!
In the NFL (and any team sport really) one word can often translate into a tried and tested maneuver. Not so with the client.
I'm all in favour of following the four minute rule, but for some players out there (especially n00bs) reducing it would take their enjoyment out of the game.
They'd probably stop playing BB well before they were competent enough to play 2min turns comfortably.
I'd rather wait 6mins a turn for an opponent to play his/her best than play a f*&*ing retard who doesn't present a challenge but finishes his/her turn in 1min.
Disclaimer: This is not meant to offend anyone. It only represents my opinion. If I have offended you....tough |
