Hello,

I haev a slot available to start a new team. In general i really like teams that perform well at higher tr's. I already have a dwarf, dark-elf and chaos team. What other races do you guys think perform well at tr200+?

Any non-stunty, non-Amazon, non-Norse team.

You should create Orcs. They are very good in the long term.

orcs are very good long term but ranked has enough orc teams imo. humans offer an interesting change as they are versatile (can bash run or pass) have decent staying power at 200+ tr and you will find it easier to get games with them than orcs.

imho pro elves are unstoppable over tr 200. NOS catchers and skilled throwers along wih those nice blitzers makes scoring simple

Don't listen to them - Halflings cannot be beaten at TR 200 +

Elfs are good at high tr, noone can beat them. The bad side is that one fatal game can kill your whole team, I have learned the hard way. With their low av you almost never start the game at full strength and if you are low on luck, you can loose several players in one game. In the nest you start with only 8 or 9 players and then any team can bash your team and it continues untill your team is made up of 6 players, all with nggling injuries as they are too expensive to replace.

Goblins and Halflings are fine when you want to play a team for a long time while its team rating stays low.
My ranked goblins have played the most matches (23) of all my ranked teams and have the lowest team rating (123)
You have a better chance to find a bigger variety of opponents when not all your teams are lurking in the same narrow range of team rating.

I'm a personal fan of the human team... it's so fast with 4 ma 7 blitzers and 4 ma 8 catchers, and the linemen and blitzers give a great line for running the ball.

I like human teams for the underdog factor they have. They're nothing special, really... which means you have to work harder as a coach. Would they be any good at TR200+? I'm not so sure about that. Other teams get to use their innate advantages (e.g. mutations or AG4) at higher TR/TS. What do humans get? Twelve positional players! Granted, any one of them isn't a game winner but you get a lot of them and they're cheap. Having four catchers running around is just fun!

I have no idea what I'm trying to say really.

Orks and Chaos Dwarves have very good developement potential, and are also very good teams at all stages in their developement.

Dark Elves and High Elves if you don't mind cherrypicking a bit.

Pro Elves or Wood Elves if you don't mind cherrypicking a LOT.

Chaos if you like bashing more than winning.

Dwarves are good in the short run, medium run and maybe even long run, but not in the very long run (not that you'll get any matches anyway, so...)

Norse, Amazons, Undead, Halflings and Goblins are poor in the long run.

The rest of the teams fall in between.

Humans aren't that sharp long-term. They're an excellent starting team, but at best moderately good long-term. In general, the teams that are good for long-term have high stats, and usually less skills (like Orks and all the Elf teams).
