Hello all

As the title says, my Human Blitzer Aleyn has reached 31 SPP and his 3rd skill. So far he has +1MA and Dodge. Here's the link:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1715397

And the full team line-up:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=149499

I am torn on what to choose next, and have 3 potential paths in mind:
1) Treat the MA/Dodge as nice to have but go the typical human blitzer route - take Guard and then Mighty Blow
2) Develop him as a running back - although I like this idea he simply doesn't have access to the necessary Agility skills (Sure Feet, Sprint, Side Step). The only applicable General skills is Sure Hands (and on a slightly different tack, Pass Block).
3) Develop him as a sweeper - hunting the field for annoying receivers/runners like Gutter Runners, Catchers of all races, etc (many of whom are ST2). Applicable skills are I think Tackle, Strip Ball and Shadowing (in that order?).

However, these paths do not overlap, so I need to make a decision now. I'm leaning towards taking tackle and going for the sweeper role, but I would value any input from more experienced players.

My vote would be tackle, mighty blow, guard, strip

Sweeper sounds nice, but what happens if you roll dubble next time, Diving Tackle?

Anyway, good luck with you bizzar human team. You have made lost of good rolls there, and no aging if I remeber correctly...

Give him Shadowing early it's a very irritating skill that is often overlooked. With +MA it was meant to be.

Tackle/Shadowing in combo. Standfirm on Doubles. After that - well, he might not make it that far....

Tackle. Tackle is way more useful then most people think.

Tackle 100%
You have no tacklers now, which is a huge handicap for a human team if you wanna play scoring teams
Also tackle would be my choice for that guy anyway, cos with dodge and move 8 he can cover the whole field and hunt down those fast blodgers

Well, thanks to all for the many responses. You've helped consolidate my decision - Tackle it is.

Several people pointed out the lack of Tackle on the team and the handicap that poses against agile teams, and I have to agree. I had planned to take it on a couple of previous skill rolls on other players but interesting rolls came up (+1AG, +1ST, etc).

And I agree I have had good skill rolls (beginners luck?) - the two ST 4 blitzers are amazing.

Thanks!
