That's cause most people that vote dodge plays in SL and don't want you to take tentacles. I voted dodge.

Dodge... Strength 4 is good but not not amazing with tentacles.

Flip a coin.
Both of them would be good.

I voted for dodge, for immediate benefits...for the tentacles to be uber-effective, you'll need to add tackle and then shadowing to the mix, whereas the dodge helps NOW...

tenticles or Diving tackle. DT is a pain in the ass that your opponent may forget. Tenticles marks him out as one to watch.

Thing is, if he's playing primarily bashers, not that many are going to try to dodge away from him in the first place. So they'll all have tackle and dodge is worthless, too, you might say...but if his opponents also face only fellow bashers, they might not see enough dodge to warrant having more than a tackle or two on the team, and certainly not the entire roster...so he'd be relatively protected as a result!

I voted dodge because (as a dark elf player) with ST4 I don't think tentacles is much better than DT. Dodge means he won't fall down against (most) ag teams (where tentacles is useful). Plus he can do really irritating guard assist with no fear and a decent chance of sucess - even a 6+ dodge is almost 1 in 3 with no turnover, or (almost) the same as a 2dblock POW against a blodger.

I would take claw. But since you don't like that, dodge.

How could claw be a good choice? He's already at 53 spp. Claw needs MB or rsc to be more effective than mb so it sounds a whole lot like a wasted double. He would have chosen mb if I hadn't rolled a double though.

i say dodge..

even if youre not gonna use him to run about dodging lots.. it affects the block dice! thats crucial in my book.. with stand firm and dodge you'll be able to suck up the punishment and deal it out next turn! Twisted Evil

Tentacles. Dodge is overrated as the high end teams have got enough players with tackle anyway.
