Hi everyone,
my first post here and I bring a gift!
Feeling inspired by "Colin's Fields" and their nice weather effects, I created my own based on the dotted fields rather than the lined ones which I don't like to use as much. I have only really changed the "sunny" and "blizzard" ones, the others I felt were fine. The "good" one is changed slightly to distinguish itself from "sunny" better...
(Please ignore the resizing, it's a photbucket thing )
I have the complete set of fields in a zip file if anyone wants them emailed. Or is it possible to have them put in the downloads section?

I really like that blizzard pitch, it looks great, and like a real blizzard. |

Yeah...get those in the DL section for sure! Just go to that section and fill in the blanks (assuming you have the file on a site for fumbbl to link to)
Then it will go thru an approval phase..and walla! we all have cool new blizzard field! |

I like the sunny one because the pitch with the shadow is a much better reminder of sunny conditions than the slightly lighter pitch. |

I second that. I once threw a pass in a TZ with my thrower because I figured it would be better than dodging without a RR - just forgot that it was sunny.
Of course it didn't matter as a skink intercepted the bloody ball!
Actually I forgot it one additional time later in the game and missed the pass. I'd like a new Very Sunny pitch even if I haven't forgotten it since. |

Hmmm, it's not hosted anywhere yet. I'll have to look into that...

"Slightly" lighter? Removing that white washed pitch was my main motive for doing these
Full credit for the shadow idea should go to Colin though.

I don't know anything about animating fields but if you can stop it from making my head spin it'd certainly be an awsome improvement. |
