The question on the minds of many in the Old World has been, "What happened to the Fighting Cockerel Cup?" Now, breaking news just out of the Moot has revealed that most of the top Stunty Leeg officials have been arrested and charged with multiple infractions, including bribery, collusion, and falsifying food allowance claims. Even the seemingly untouchable Sipp Pigblatter was dethroned from his lofty position at the head of the Leeg. Details are scarce, but it is believed large bribes have become the norm to secure a Stunty Major, not the lest of which is the purported huge paid by the Goblins to host the Exploding Cup. It all came to a head when the player who was supposed to be the prize for the Exploding Cup champions, Hobgoblin Assassin Scarlath 'Back Scratcher' Scarly, ran off with the tournament prize money, the bribes, and half of the Drachenfels Coachmen's cheerleaders. At this point accusations began to fly, investigations were started, and Pigblatter's empire began to crumble.

Where does this leave the Stunty Leeg? Well, aside from missing the FCC this year, not much different than before. The Leeg has, and will likely always be, chaotic and mismanaged. An interim staff of Gnomes has been brought in to audit and restructure and the Stunty Cup will push ahead. The prizes are presently unknown, and may be less than what they were in the past, but the glory of hoisting the trophy will still be the same.

So bring your team, and be ready for the madness that is the Stunty Cup. Coming September 2nd to a pitch near you.

The Stunty Cup is a modified double-elimination tournament for Stunty division teams only. Applications will be accepted up to 64, 128 or 256 teams to ensure an even bracket.

All accepted applicants are placed into the Winner's Bracket. After the first round is played, all teams who lose their first round match will be placed into a Loser's Bracket automatically. From this point forward, any loss will mean elimination from the tournament. This format guarantees coaches at least 2 games in the tournament.

Please note, if you lose your first match, and you are eliminated from the Winner's Bracket, you are not allowed to play a preparation match before the Loser's Bracket starts. Any teams playing a match between their loss in the Winner's Bracket, and the start of the Loser's Bracket, will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.

The Loser's Bracket will begin after the conclusion of the first round of the Winner's Bracket.

There is no TW limit on the Stunty Cup, and all teams are accepted up to the "even bracket" break points. Applicants will be accepted upon application date, so apply early. One team per coach allowed.

Good luck to all!
