Soporific Orcs
So I just finished playing an orc mirror match, and was very ready to fall asleep by the end of it. My opponent played a normal orc game, crawling upfield and stalling near the endzone, I played a... something significantly riskier.

Have I become a leap junkie from playing slann? Have I become a dodge and pass junkie from playing high elf? Did I make the mistake of taking dodge over leap with my orcs in the first place? Am I just not getting enough pie?

Although science dictates I should test each possibility while holding the rest constant I've instead decided that I only want to play teams that can do cool stuff. Knowing exactly how the entire drive will unfold on turn two and then spending a half hour watching it go exactly how everyone knows it will makes me wonder why I'm needed at the board (or computer). If I wanted to grind I'd play an RPG. If I wanted to stall I'd drive standard. If I wanted help falling asleep I'd eat more pie.

Gonna leave the orcs in hibernation for a long time now, back to high risk unpredictability for me!

Play Pro Elves :)

Tons of fun and unpredictability... if you can handle the death and constant loner linos ;)

pro elves = more deaths in the first 10 games than games. However, they are uber fun.

orcs = teh evil.

I hate orcs, and won't play them if at all possible, for any reason.

I like the type of play you like but I also enjoy playing Orcs. But then again I'd be so happy if I'd know how turn 2 - turn 8 will play out. I always mess up before I get there so plenty of exciting play hehe.

It's time for you to field goblins. Field 3!

Orcs are boring... Rated 1 because you played them! (no i didn't, but you really deserved it :D)

You could do much worse than orcs for being boring. Like... most undead squads. Any team with "chaos" or "dwarf" in the name. Etc. At least orcs have a semi-competent passing attack and blitzers that skill up quickly to create distinct players.

I am very much with you, which is why I play goblins, flings and underworld the most. And of course, stunty.

I've been toying with the idea of an elfball orc team, to play for a challenge and fun.

I played vs such a team once, it was all +ag and dodge on the blitzers, and a proper thrower, but I can't remember which team.

I'm gonna go: No black orcs, 4 gobbos. Just undecided about the troll, and the fluff.

If you're gonna go 4 gobbos why wouldn't you take the troll for some TTM action?

yeah that's the decision licker, TTM would be good but the whole reason to drop black orcs is the low ag and ma, though I guess it wouldn't be too bad on just the troll, even if he does need babysitting, which i find really annoying. Really Stupid is the worst negatrait imo, and he should cost 90k

sorry OP for the derail ;0

If you want to play funky with a bash team, try UW or chaos. Mutation access on normal rolls means you can make those leap horns vll guys with a single doubles.
